Just back...advice about Shrek

If you see Shrek first and then Jimmy Neutron, would it make sense to grab an Express Pass to see Shrek again right after Jimmy Neutron? Do those things disappear as fast as Test Track's passes do or is it even worse?

Also, is MIB doable after seeing Shrek and JN if you don't want to split up?

The wait is just as long, if not longer. Since Shrek is right at the entrance the line is even long at close. Once closing time hits (9PM right now) they won't let anyone else in the line, but even at that time, with everyone making their way out walking right by it, it's still a huge wait.

I was there last night, and at 9PM the queue was still full.

What are our chances of seeing Shrek without a 90 minute wait on a Saturday, Dec 6 with FOTL?? If we're there right when the park opens???

This ride is the highlight of our trip for my whole family this year's trip!!!

What do the experts think?

WITH FOTL?? You'll have no problem...ESPECIALLY if you go to Shrek when the park first opens. I have not yet been in a long line at Shrek with FOTL or Express. Maybe a 10 minute wait is what I have experienced. It's the regular line that backs up for a long time, but you shouldn't have to wait very long with FOTL or Express.

Besides I hear early December is an off-peak time, so that should help with the numbers too!!

We were there on July 16th and for at least the first hour the wait for Shrek was only 20 minutes. I'd say be there at opening and go straight to Shrek, unless you have FOTL. We had FOTL so we did Jimmy Neutron first and it got 2 big thumbs way up by my 4 and 8 year olds! Shrek wasn't as well received, especially from my 4 year old, but we survived! We ended up doing JN a few more times, but not Shrek.

My family was just there July 17th thru 21st. We were staying on-site and had all day Express. I decided to try Jimmy Neutron first, because after hearing so many great things about Shrek, I was afraid that we would be disappointed in Jimmy Neutron if we saw Shrek first. The wait for Jimmy Neutron was 15 min., in the Express line. We went straight to Shrek, and like kbeverina, we had a 25 min. wait in the Express line. My family of 4, (DH, 15 yo. niece, DS 10, and myself), agrees with palmbeachguy. We all liked Jimmy Neutron better. Maybe it was the show, or maybe it was the long wait in the heat. Who knows? We did, however, enjoy both shows. I wouldn't want to skip either.

Plus, the line to get to the Universal Express kiosks for Shrek even gets long. Last weekend, I noticed that it stretched almost all the way to the back of the Nuetron building - there must have been 100 people in line just to get an Express pass!

Ah yes, I remember standing in that line pretty well...

the good thing about it is, it doesn't take long to get express passes so the line moves fairly quickly.

I've seen an Express line for the Hulk stretch all the way across the midway once!
