We have just returned from an absolutely amazing time! Terrific visit!

We visited all parks during our trip. In order to beat the heat, we got to each park at the start of the day, took a midday break, and then went back in the late afternoon. So happy we did this...it really refreshed the kids!

We attended two Halloween parties (Sunday and Thursday). Sunday was definitely more crowded than Thursday's. Both parties were a lot of fun. Loved the parade...it was amazing! The kids are still singing the song from it!

LOVED early morning magic at Magic Kingdom!!! It was such a fun morning. We rode the rides multiple times, got a picture in front of the castle without a lot of people in it, had a delicious breakfast, and got to be the first in line at enchanted tales with Belle (a must for the girls)! Loved it, loved it, loved it!!

Planning is very important but you need to be flexible, too. I found that some of the most magical moments happened when we were least expecting them.

The crowds seemed pretty low to me. We were able to ride our favorite rides multiple times...even without fast passes.

Loved the memory maker, too! It's so much fun looking through the pictures now that we are back.

It was an absolutely wonderful week. So many great memories were made!

Sounds very similar to the trip I took the week before you. Glad you had a great time!

Agree with the midday break to beat the heat. Historically I've not been a "take a break" kinda girl, but when it is SOOO hot it really helps to refresh your energy!

Wait time examples?

We went as a group of eight with Figaroisthebest! Walked onto splash mountain around 900-930 2x (no FP) with wait time being the amount of time to walk to the ride itself. We also did it 3 X between 7-800 pm with no wait at all. Again, time it takes to walk from the entrance to the ride. We did that ride at least 9 times with only 2 FP the days we were at MK.

Space mountain we walked onto as well both in early to mid-am and during the Halloween party. Probably did that ride 7 times on our trip.

We did EMM on Tuesday and rode 7 D 5 X in a row with no wait. We did wait about 25 minutes during Thursday's party but line moved quick as there was no FP line.

We feel going early at opening and coming back late afternoon to close gave us the best opportunity to ride our kids' favorite rides! The wait times during the party were also pretty low. Thursday's party was less crowded than Sunday's and we also waited 5 minutes to do HM ( which is even better the darker it's out)!

We went together as a party of 8 with Figaroisthebest! and had the best time ever! Will def do EMM again!!
We saw photographers out on our walk towards the castle and stopped for a pic ( of course with the crane out). Didn't notice any other photographers. But so cool to go early--- did 7 Ds 5x no wait and could've done it 10xs!

Yes, there were a ton of photo pass photographers out. With four kids and two dads in our extended family who aren't fond of having their pictures taken, we only went to photographers who had short lines. We also came across many photographers at unexpected locations with NO lines at all!!!

Edited to add...we saw lots of photographers out every day...at EMM they seemed to only be around the castle! But we did get great shots with no one else in the picture there!!!

The wait times weren't bad for the rides we wanted. We didn't try 7 D or FEA as stand by because they had long waits. The only ride we waited in for a half hour was TOT...which was odd because we had fast passes for it. I think everyone with a fast pass showed up at the same time! CMs gave out free water to everyone who was waiting in the line and they even closed out standby to get all of the fast pass people in. It was a great week to be in Disney!

We must've been there the same day!! That happened to our party too at Hollywood studios.
