Had a fabulous time. This was an adult only trip and so needed as it has been a stressful year. Everything went perfectly from start to finish.

-Our plane left PHL on time and landed at MCO 20 minutes early.
-Magical Express worked perfectly..bus right there and left promptly
-Room ready at check in - 10:15 am or so.
-Saw La Nouba first night, first time seeing Cirque Du Soleil....loved it.
-Buses worked out well and hit it lucky most times with little waiting. Only waited about 1/2 hr once, the rest of the time with little or no waiting. Buses are very crowded at the end of the day, as expected. The one hiccup for us was that there were two buses heading back to Pop, the first one was crammed with people and they kept piling in. Not sure of the reasoning when another bus was following up. But other than that, no issues.
-Pixie dust one evening when we were at a resort and wanted to go back to Pop. We know buses do not go resort to resort, so sat waiting to go to whichever theme park bus came along. An Animal Kingdom bus came back but not returning as the park was closed. Bus driver started talking to us and gave us a ride back to Pop...only ones on the bus!
-We were at Pop, so not on the monorail hotel line but with the times we did use the monorail, no issues.
-We did not upgrade food plan so ate counter service....first time doing this, first time staying at a value. Had no issues with food, had more than enough and enjoyed it all.
-We had no touring plan and totally enjoyed ourselves. We were able to do TSM twice with a 15 minute wait each time. Our philosophy this time was if we needed to fast pass an attraction we would, if fast passes were all gone...oh well for us. We did fast pass Soarin and got there after 1:00, with fast passes still available.
-We did not encounter any rude CM's. All were wonderful and friendly.
-We did the Backstage Magic tour and it is totally worth it. Enjoyed it and had wonderful CMs...a shout out to Monica and Wayne.
-More pixie dust on the way home last night. Again Magical Express worked wonderful and RAC is fantastic - new since our last visit. We were at MCO and got called up to the desk (we didn't pay to have an assigned seat, so were separated), once at the desk our seats were changed to sit together. Great. She then asked for those boarding passes back and with a complimentary upgrade moved to business class.

All in all a great trip. We almost booked bounce back knowing we could cancel down the road but DH decided he did not want to do that :confused3

We did look into DVC and gave us lots to think about. Not something we would do today or tomorrow but something that got us thinking.

Hope everyone who are still waiting for there trips have an awesome time, as we did. For those just returning...I feel your pain and depression. Reality is no fun to begin with but leaving Disney....a real downer.

Thanks for sharing! Glad you had a good trip... :hyper:

Thanks!!! We leave in 9 days and we're staying at Pop for our 3rd time. Looking forward to getting on that magic bus :)

thank you for that report....we are leaving in 25 days, no kids, adult only trip, staying at POP.....what things did you do this trip that you never could do bringing the kids?

We were there same time as you 9/16-9/22. FABULOUS trip. Two adults and no kids. Stayed BLT and AKLV (first time there...we usually stay at Pop but had a generous relative give us their DVC points). Amazing!

We ate out-of-pocket and did three TS (Ohana, Via Napoli and Boma). Ate like kings!

That's wonderful to hear. I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves so. Welcome back.

:)

How is Pop? I'm a moderate and deluxe girl on a value budget.

The rooms are smaller and one sink. However, we really had no issues at all. Moderates do not have inside corridors so no difference there. In my opinion it is all in your attitude....if it means a trip to WDW and its what works better for your budget, it is well worth it. We chose Pop (value) this trip due to just not being in the room/resort much and gave it a whirl. We loved it. CM's are so friendly and it is a fun atmosphere.

So glad you had a great time, too. What an awesome gift you were given. Pixie dust comes in various ways!

We went into this trip with the mindset that this was OUR trip. We did what we wanted on our timetable. We slept in a bit and if we didn't want to do something we didn't. We had time to talk and relax. We did the backstage magic tour which we couldn't do prior as the last time there my DS was under 16. We also saw La Nouba which we didn't do before because DS never wanted to go. Enjoy your trip!!!
