Day 5 started off with everyone sleeping in until almost 11!!! I was shocked my little ones never do that. We ate lunch at the food court and then headed over to the pool. We stayed there most of the afternoon. We had dinner at Boma's and the food was excellent-we had never been before and thought we should try it since everyone raves about the place. I have to admit though I went for the Zebra Domes. While my DS and I were in line for our dessert a lady said to me those are the Zebra Domes take 2, 1 won't be enough. I took 2 and I hate to admit it but I don't like them at all. Very nice restaurant my kids weren't impressed and I don't think I'd take them back. After dinner, we hopped a bus to DTD for our shopping. World of Disney-I could spend days here just looking at it all. I found everyones souveniers and a couple for me as well. My DD found a ring with her intial and a Mickey head on it that she had to have. More on the ring on day 5. After shopping we headed over to the gourmet shop and got our carmel apples with nuts and headed back to the hotel for our nightly swim and of course our drink. It was a very relaxing day just what we needed to recharge for our last day which looked to be just as hot as the rest.

Day 5- We were up early as we had PS for Donald's Breakfasauras at the AK at 8:20. We headed out and got to the bus stop at 7:30. Not one Ak bus came by until 8:15 and that one passed our stop since it was full. I called the front desk with another lady who had been waiting since 7:15 and asked them to call the restaurant and have them hold our seats. I was more than ticked but what can you do. We finally got to AK about 8:50 and they would not let us in, we had to wait with the people waiting to get into the park at 9. They opened a little before 9 and were giving carnations out to all the Moms. Very nice. We went over to Donald's and had our breakfast. The food was good, the service was excellent but the character interaction was lacking-kids were disappointed but what can you do. After breakfast we rode the Triceratops spin, DS was to small for Primeavel Whirl so DM and DD rode and I took him to the park.. After that we rode Dinosaur, headed to Its Tough to be a Bug, I love both of these. We saw the Festival of the Lion King-awesome as usual and then rode Kali River Rapids (first time to do this) What a great ride! Once again no lines at all, we waited maybe 15 min for Kali and it was so hot that walking over there I was sure there would be a 2 hour wait. After that, we headed back to the hotel.

We left for Epcot about 3:30, got there and rode Spaceship Earth. Went and got a fastpass for Test Trak and rode Body Wars. My DS loves TT and again no wait with the pass. Stepped into MouseGear to get some AC for a minute and my DD realized that she had lost her mickey ring. Well she started crying that silent pitiful cry and her face gets all welted up and red and 3 CM were over to ask what was wrong in a matter of minutes. I explained that she had lost the ring so they started looking for it checking lost and found etc. Meanwhile, I'm looking over in the jewelry section for another ring can't find one. She was heartbroken cause they did not have another. I have to admit I never thought this $12 ring was so special to her. Anyway, no one found it. Another CM comes over and asks what is wrong and she starts telling her and the CM goes and gets 2 managers they come over and ask where I bought it and are going to call down to World of Disney to get one when the other manager finds the exact ring she lost hanging on an earring card. I would never have looked there-so anyway they replaced her ring for free. I was amazed at the kindness that all of these CM showed. It was truly a "magical" experience for me and of course DD. So now everyone is happy. We ate dinner at the Fountainview Rest. pretty good for hamburgers and hotdogs. We had another ride on Test Trak and the kids played in the sidewalk fountains. We watched Illuminations and headed back to the hotel for (yep, you guessed it) our nightly swim and our drinks. Really are hating the fact that we have to leave tommorrow. DD cried (again) because she knew it was our last night.

Hi,

Thanx for the report - how great that your daughter was given a replacement ring and everyone was so concerned about her :D

I notice you have a "trip without the kids" coming up...

Ummmm.... have you told them yet? LOL

>>^..^<<

Hey it's not just your daughter. I cry when I know I have to go home the next day too!
