Just got back after 10 days in Florida! This trip was adults only - just me and DH. Couple of quick notes:

1) This was my first trip using a scooter. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate. It was the best-spent money, out of all the MUCHO money we spent this week. I didn't hit anyone (a couple of walls may have some damage); cast members were fantastic about allowing my husband to park far forward - he met me mid-day after golfing; it was easy to navigate lines and waits with it.

2) The Epcot Illuminations dessert party was wonderful. Well worth the $49 each. Again, the scooter helped - spots along the fence at the lake had been reserved for people with disabilities. Drinks and desserts were yummy. We are incredibly spoiled now. Chairs would have been a good idea, and you'd think it wouldn't be a big deal to bring some out.

3) The third Toy Story Mania setup makes a huge difference in wait times.

4) The March of the First Order in HS was fun. But not in 95 degree heat. And that's why we didn't see either of the other 2 Star Wars show at the HS stage.

5) Dinner at Le Cellier was excellent. We ordered the porterhouse for 2 - just a suggestion, don't do this the same night you have the Iliuminations dessert party planned.

Very sad to be home - went from 90 degrees to closer to 40. We had plenty of clothes - could have stayed another week, at least!

Sounds like a great trip. Can you tell us more about the Toy Story wait times? What days and times did you go, and what were the wait times then?

I went on my own on Thursday morning (had a FP for that afternoon). I got to the park about 11:30, I think, and posted wait was about 45, but it was really closer to 25. Thursday evening, posted wait was 30, real was about 20. Saturday night, had a FP at 6:40, did that, then went back for the standby line, which was showing 50, and was really about 35. But I've been there when wait times were posted more than 2 hours, so I didn't think these were bad at all!

Glad you had a great time! Did you find the bathrooms and parks to be dirty, like others have reported?

I didn't think the parks were dirty (Universal, on the other hand, was filthy). Bathrooms could have used some more help, though. They weren't horrible, but certainly not up to the standards from a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the wait times go down during Fantasmic! or the Star Wars fireworks?
