Well, the weather was perfect! got cold one night no rain, just perfect.
The lines were not long, the crowds were o.k... only waited over an hour for one ride, splash mountain, everything else was 30 minutes or less... we did the fantasmic show package, that was nice to have reserved seating we ate at broadway and vine... the food was o.k... it was an all you can eat and you get full, but it was not the best food I ever tasted, but for the money everyone is sure to find enough to make them full and satisfied..... The castle looks beautiful with the new make over, its a small world looked nice and clean...

I went up and down the campsites looking for green mickeys and never found anyone, we were in 1708, went around several nights, sorry I did not get to meet anyone....

now for the down side.... the Bathrooms when we got there were nasty.... as he week went on it did get a little better... we went to philharmagic and the trash can inside was overflowing on the floor... THAT IS SOMETHING I HAVE NEVER SAW BEFORE AT DISNEY...it was dissapointing.. it really was not as clean as it use to be... there were people drunk in the campground, younger people, but still at disney come on not with small kids around...

for the most part it was a really good week, bus service was good, the bike barn had our cart ready when we got there, seems they had them all reserved, no one could just walk up and get one they were booked all week...

any questions ask away...

any suggest on what to do or not to do would be great!!!! :)

As a FL native, I can tell you spring in FL can be unpredictable!! Take mostly shorts and T's, but take a pair or two of jeans or long pants and a jacket just in case. The best jacket to take is one that can also be used as a rain jacket - like a wind breaker with a hood or a light rain jacket. Take a warm blanket for sleeping and we always take an electric heater in our motorhome - better to use their electricty than our propane. :thumbsup2 Also if you plan to do the campfire and movie take your own stuff for smores. They sell it, but it's way expensive.

59 days 17 hours and 6 minutes 'til we're back at the Fort & Star Wars Weekend.

Happy Camping :teacher:

CyndiLou,
Sorry we missed you we were in the 200 loop. I had a neon Mickey but it kept falling off the post. Finaly stuck it on the RV windsheild. The loop we were in was realy clean bathroom and all.
Sorry I missed you guys, we did not get a golf cart this time so we did not get around to all the loops. Had a great time! :sunny:

Merky,
Our weather was beautiful, however, one night did get extremely cold, but in April you may have a few cooler nights so I would bring mostly shorts and just a least one or two long pair of paints, and we bought a few of those emergency ponchos (99 cents at walmart) they are folded small and fit in a back pack just in case of rain, My Daughter was with us she is 23, and she does not really ride the rides but she had a great time... If anyone is prone to motion sickness do not do misssion space... everest expedition is fine.. I actually was dissapointed it is not a thrill ride but it is like thunder mountain kind a of ride with a little more scenery...

we just enjoyed being in the camp ground and resting a few days, rode our bikes and walked the trails... and rode the golf cart up and down looking for green mickeys...

Soarin is a GREAT RIDE in epcot for the whole family... really cool...

Enjoy spending time with your family...

you can get a lime green mickey at home depot... Lime green is what the Dis board people use to recognize each other... put them on your post near your campsite number for people to stop by and say hello...

We got back recently too(3/20-26th). Your weather was better than ours, by the weekend it was "cold" ( considering you pay all that money to go to FL and your still wearing long pants and jackets). ANyway, we stayed in the 1200 Loop and all was quiet(Thank Goodness) . I don't think we saw any dirty restrooms, but we went to the parks during the week. I had a lime green Mickey and left it at home. I may post a short report later but I agree the lines were't bad at all and Soarin' was incredibly realistic!!

I agree with you about the bathrooms. We were in the 1100 loop and several times I called about the shower backing up. Nothing was ever done. We have been going to disney for 17 years now and I can see alot going downhill. They don't enforce rules anymore and the campground especially on the weekends is getting rowdy

I think the rule enforcement is an issue. It would seem the CM are just getting worn down from people arguing with them and I dont think they have the support from the managers that they need. The rules at WDW are for people that follow them. The folks that dont follow the rules are rarely challenged anymore. When the sign says no flash photography and the CM says no flash and you still stand up during the ride and use your flash.... How do you combat that sort of arrogance and stupidity.
You can only smile and be polite so many times :confused3
