Title says it all. We were there 1/12-1/17. Villas at Wilderness Lodge #4512. Very close to elevator, quiet and overlooking bus stop (seriously, we never heard anything!) View was fine as the trees obstructed the buses. We ate at Whispering canyon, Artist Point, Chef Mickey, Brown Derby, Raglan Road, Liberty Tree
It was our 1st time at WL. We loved the Villas and would choose it again. Maybe at a different resort. I have found the transportation is an issue at every resort. It is usually great to 1 park, and then pretty mediocre to the rest. I have no problem getting a cab- and will do that to any place I can if possible. The ferry service from WL was great to MK ,CR and FW. A car would be great for some people or rental (we fly in)
Magical express was great, but def. takes longer to get to resort...free is worthwhile.
Cub's Den was great for 2 nights. I think older kids may be bored, but my kids loved it.
Highly reccommend the Family Magic Tour for families with preschoolers. They loved it! We also loved the Photo Session at GF, it was well worth the trip over
Didn't do the pool- 5 days of very cool weather! It looked nice. Hot tubs were always in use, but not crowded. Slide was a bit lame looking compared to Poly and GF.
I was not crazy about the location, but I loved the space of the Villas. Hard to be so close to MK and yet so far away with 3 lil monsters at the end of the day. I am sure it would be ideal for older kids. Mousekeeping was wonderful. Never did room service on this trip. Nice to be able to buy nuggets in the lobby and serve them in the room.
The dedicated 2 BR villa had a weird set up on the "studio" side. There was a huge vanity area outside a tiny full bath and huge walk in closet that could fit a twin air mattress! There was a definite lack of drawer space in the Master BR, but a decent sized clost was enough for us.
Anyone have any questions?
