Just arrived - Info for those driving down soon!

We just arrived yesterday to St Augustine. Heading over to Old Key West shortly. I know some of you are driving down soon that are crossing at Buffalo so I thought I'd share with you all we encountered. We left Hamilton at 11:30 am. Crossed the border in 5 minutes, no wait time at all. Lots of Construction all the way down, only traffic jam was Pittsburgh, although nothing compared to the QEW. All other construction was during the night so it didn't cause any delays. Virginia had one spot down to one lane that was a really tight squeeze! Be very careful on 19, police are everywhere, saw at least 7 on that highway alone, but also seen them all over our drive, most people did the speed limit. I've never seen that before, maybe it's to conserve fuel? Fuel was the big issue through the Carolina's and Georgia. We got through Charlotte and about an hour out started to look for fuel. It took three exits before we found some and this was at 2 in the morning. One exit they were closed, the next was a Texaco, Exxon and not sure the other, they only had a high octaine racing fuel, Who uses that especially at almost 7 dollars a gallon. The third stop was a Cone they were out of everything but regular! That was great! Cost was about 3.50 to 3.79 a gallon. In Georgia the first station we got gaS. But there. was multipule pumps empty. Try not to let your tank get to empty just in case.
Smooth ride other then a piece of truck tire hitting our truck and taking a piece of our trim with it! We arrived in St Augustine at 8:30 am.
