Just An Introduction For Us

Hello fellow DVC members. I just wanted to say hello and introduce Sherry and I to you all.
We just became members in June but have stayed at OKW twice thanks to friends who had
points we were able to but. I have lurked on and off for a few years and now want to
become more active.

We live in Liverpool NY which is a suburb of Syracuse and are planing a trip in October of this year (although we are currently waitlisted for 2 of the nights .

That's about it for right now.

This might make a good introduction thread for all of us newbies instead of a bunch of little threads!

I jumped in here last month without properly introducing myself. My apologies! I'm Christa, wife of Kevin, mom of Meaghan. We live in suburban Atlanta and signed up for BCV during our 7-16 July trip. We're still waiting to close. I've only been to Disney 3 times - 92, 97 and 03. Hubby has been a couple more times than I have. DD is 12, and we hope to have many more WDW vacations in our future now that we are almost DVC members. These boards have been a fountain of information, and I've enjoyed all the messages, especially the random acts of kindness.

Hi! I'm new too and very excited! We signed papers on 7/23 onsite because our state is one of the five that won't let us buy a timeshare out of state. We close on 8/22. Dh is Howie and I'm Dana. We have 2 kids Zach (8) and Elli (4). We are all certifiable Disney nuts! Started with dh and I coming to WDW on our honeymoon, first trip for us both. We've now been 5 times and the kids 3 times. I love that our next trip was planned before we even left WDW in July!

Hi, I am new as well. I am Kathleen, wife of Derek mom to Lauren 4 and Brandt 2. We joing BCV in Sept of last year, I found this website about a month ago and here I am. I am so excited about DVC. Many of our friends talk about bigger houses, nicer cars, we talk about more points at Disney LOL. Welcome all.

I guess we might as well introduce ourselves. I'm Tom, my wife is Marcia and our son it Tim (15). We just became members last October. I really have not posted that much, however, your discussion board was a fount of information when we were looking to buy.

Our first big use of points will be in 2 weeks when we spen 3 nights at WLV & 5 nights at BCV. We all are looking forward this trip. I hope to meet some of you at the members day celebration on 8/26.

Christa, we also live in the Atlanta area. Bought at BCV last May and are already debating on adding on at VWL or SSR! Addictive stuff this DVC...

You aren't kidding! We haven't made plans with our points yet, but there's no way I'll get my husband to add-on until we do. I'd love to have some points at VWL! I love visiting there, and it would be fun to call it home, too.

i feel left out, so I will jump in too. I am Jessica and my husband is Stash( nickname of stanley in polish and you pronounce it like Osk K'osh, b'gosh . We are both 26 and purchased at BCV in February. My parents own at OKW and VB so I have been 30 times to WDW. My hubby has been about 7. we don't have any kids and not really planning to have any...I am too much a kid myself. we are planning our next two trips...one in Feb...a cousin of DH is getting married on Valentine's day at the Wedding Pavilian and the grand floridian. So, we are extending that trip with a stay at the BCV. Then, we are heading down to OKW on my parents points!!! yes!!!!

I'm a newbie also...org went on tour to OKW in 1993 Points 190 @ $56.00..my then husband didn't think it was for us. I thought it was GREAT..Now many years later, new DH and I bought Jan,2002 at VWL with June use year. We live about 2 hours away and have stayed five times with our points...next trip Sept 19-25..My name is Beckie DH is Terry...no children...but i have 10 nephews 9 nieces. They love Disney...I org found the fourm a few years ago then couldn't remember how to get back. My sister called and asked if we could try for a trip my Sept...I found disboards by accident spent three days just soaking up all the knowledge..then jumped in to add my 2cents. Love the DIS and love all the forums.
