DH & and I had been discussing whether or not to add more points, and we finally decided to go ahead and do it. We decided just to do it through Disney so we would have the same home resort (VWL) and use year.

After everything I've read here, I figured we would be put on a wait list, but to my surprise the points were available! We borrowed some points from next year to take a quick trip next month and I was surprised to find out that I will be able to put those borrowed points back into my 2005 use year. (Or so says the guide I spoke with, I'll find out for sure when I call MS in a little while!)

Now we have 300 points at VWL, enough to do a week in a 2BR every year (or more if we are creative!). Woo Hoo!!!

We have an August use year. The guide I spoke to (our regular guide is on maternity leave) said that they just got the points back in inventory yesterday. Whether it was really "yesterday" or not, I don't know, but they were available!

I called this morning and they are putting our borrowed points back in 2005 inventory. The MS rep didn't think they could do it, but she checked with a manager and said it would be done this afternoon.

I think they have changed the way they do the list for add-ons. It sounds like you may need to contact your guide to find out if you need to be put on the new list.

No, my guide called me on the morning of the 4th, and told me about the "policy and pricing change", and I told him I still wanted to stay on the list...so, I had him check a week ago, and I am definitely on. I have a Sept. UY...so close....and, yet SO far!!!

Oh well...I will just have to continue to be patient!!
