Just a thought about Winter Free Dining...

I am sitting here worn out from the morning's craziness with getting ADRs for Be Our Guest (I did manage to get them!!) and it just occurred to me...

Maybe Free Dining was pushed off till after this BOG reservation thing got going to prevent an even more crazy morning that what already occurred.

Maybe now that BOG is open for reservations and all, just maybe...we will get our FD promotion if it's going to happen! Here's to hoping and honestly at this point I'm delusional and tired and pretty much grasping at straws on if/when FD will be out for January! HA!

What do y'all think?? Can we hope that the next week or so might bring a good thing?

I am still waiting for my fall ap discount!!!! I thought the same thing earlier today...Maybe they can only handle one crazy call day at a time. I just hope mine comes soon darnit...I am leaving in 44 days! I think everything is a little backed up and hopefully they didn't forget about us!

PS - I am going in February and I am making my ADR for BoG in 2 days...I'm a little nervous after listening to today's craziness with the cc numbers and such!

What I learned from today about getting a ressie for BOG- call any and all WDW numbers...some got through the dining number, some got through the disability number (didn't even know there was a separate number for that) and some called the general WDW line. I happened to see someone post that they called the Disney Stores phone number and they connected them right over. So, after an hour of busy signals on TWO phones, I googled that number and when he answered I asked to be transferred and he did and I went practically straight to a CM!!

Also, don't do the automated anything...talk to a real person and insist on giving a credit card number.

If you do those things and are ready at 7am EST to book, you'll get your ressie! Good luck!!

And yes...I'm hoping that now that this is going to all settle, they'll come out with some FD (and AP for you) discounts!

On another thread someone said that the UK had already received their 2013 free dining dates.....so maybe the US isn't far behind Now that the craziness of BOG has passed....hopefully they'll release some more free dining dates by the end of September?

I'm hoping the same thing. Free dining for our January trip would be wonderful!!!!!

Are there blackout dates for the UK FD plan??? I would love to see that!
