Reporting in tardy and late!
Better late than never!
Actually, I was kinda wondering where everyone went.
Was my writing THAT bad???
Gosh Pkondz, the kids need to stop all the activities and learning so I can write in your TR!!
Let 'em fend for themselves!
Builds what us older folk like to call "character".
Seriously, you might have been worried that I DID fall off of the ferry, if I had been to the World anytime recently, which I haven't, but hope to remedy with a long weekend for Star Wars Weekends coming up. Keep your fingers crossed for me please.
You got it! Fingers crossed that you fall off the ferry.
Seriously, when are you going? (As jealousy rears its ugly head.)
Anyway, digression and digression, my intent is to write to responses in light of the fact that you sir have completed two chapters since my writing absence. I read both, I just didn't have time to write.
Well, you know what's paved with good intentions, right?
Actually, I'm having trouble trying to figure out when to post. Too early and people don't have a chance to catch up and comment... too late and buh, bye readers.
On the first airport chapter, good grief, the Pkondz family just needed to catch a break. I mean seriously, I was rooting so hard for there to be a positive first airport chapter conclusion!
You know, there was. Seeing Mr. B and Mr. & Mrs. NOC at the end of the line just made my day.
Ruby and I were already in holiday mode and even if we couldn't get to Hawaii until the next day, we were happy to just be on our way... somewhere.
Would've sucked if we had to go back home though... which some people probably did.
At least I HOPE some people did.
I have had a few bad experiences with planes/embarking/and disembarking from them. I have had the joy of "electronic issues" resulting in a forced disembarkation and a further two hour delay ending with being given the option of a possibility of a much later flight or a flight in the morning. Fun all around, but this was on the way home so less of a "miss part of vacation" feeling of helplessness.
Yeah, I hear ya. This was not fun, but by far not our worst airplane experience.
International flights, and the whole different fun element they add, can also be a delight. Note that there is heavy sarcasm in the word "delight".
