We didn't eat at alot of Disney restaurants. It was myself, my friend and my 2 kids ages 10 and 11. Here are my reviews....

Liberty Tree Tavern:
This was our first dining experience of the trip inside the parks. This was also our first ever character dining experience. It turned out to be the dining highlight of the trip!!
We got the family dinner which includes, ham, turkey and steak. The meats were juicy, and tender. We ended up getting seconds of the meats. The other dishes were stuffing, mashed potatos and green beans, and of course gravy. It was yummy, and so comforting. Much better than your typical burger and fries. The dessert was apple cobbler, which was warn, and delicious. Th character interaction was perfect. The wait times in between characters was minimal. Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale had us laughing and snapping pictures. The kids both agreed that LTT was their favorite!

Coral Reef:
This was supposed to be the dining highlight. It was a major disappointment. The atmosphere was extremely loud, and hectic. The place smells overwhelmingly of fish, which isn't normally a bad thing, but it was bad here. The view of the aquarium is bad only because the tanks are poorly lit, so you can't see much swimming around in there.
The waiter made a big deal of telling us that this is the best restaurant in Epcot, and that the food is so good because celebrities always eat there. Whatever.
The food was really overpriced. My daughter loves seafood, and could not wait to eat here, but she ended up ordering steak because the fish dishes were so "gussied up" that she wouldn't have liked any of the fish dishes.

We started with the Lobster Bisque, and that was good. The shrimp cocktail was average. I got the Mai Mai. It was ok, not great. My friend Edie got the crab cakes. She thought that was pretty good. Both my kids got the steak. My son thought his was good, but my daughter thought hers was "gross" Likely because it was overcooked and covered in gravy. We did not get dessert here. And our waiter disappeared after our entrees were served. Just bad. Don't waste your money here.

RainForest Cafe:
This was a fun restaurant. I thought the atmosphere was fun, and exciting. The wait time was short, even at 5pm. The food was typical chain restaurant, but the food was pretty good.

Crystal Palace:
This was disappointing as well. The food was ok, the kids loved the "all you can eat" aspect of it. And they fully took advantage ;) The character interaction was way too slow here. I mean, this is why we booked this breakfast. We were in the restaurant for almost 2 hours, and we left before Pooh came to our table. Piglet stands in the middle, so you have to wait in line to see him. It just wasn't worth it. We'll try a different character dining experience next time. They did give us a free FastPass to any attraction to compensate us for the long character waits. This was unexpected, but what makes Disney stand out from the rest!

Your CR review is the second bad experience I've read in the past few days. It really is making me want to rethink my ADR's for our upcoming trip. I have read good reviews before, but the most recent have been terrible. I wonder what the turn around could be. Maybe just off days or at least I hope so.

I agree about the character interaction at CP. After almost two hours we had to leave without even seeing Piglet. The food was good, but the tables were a bit too close for my liking. We had done CM the day earlier for the first time too and had a blast. I guess we had too high of hopes for CP.

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.
