This is why I currently hate the MK castle, without trees, it looks like an ugly slab of concrete, very cynical and cold.

Very interesting. I can understand the arguements for them (shade, looks plain without them, etc.) and against them (fireworks, destroys forced perspective, etc.)

Maybe they could plant trees that are smaller then normal. Makes the place look nicer, adds some shade, doesn't block the fireworks, and you can enhance the force perspective of the castle.

One arguement against is rather interesting, that the roots from the trees could be cracking the infrastructure. That makes a lose-lose situation. Either cut down the trees to keep the buildings crack-free, or leave them up, and have people complain about how the place is falling apart.

Hey... they're doing a much-needed refurb on the castle from January-March of next year!

Scrim for those months in the front of the castle, but it means they're cleaning the MK up for the 40th!

River Country is so eerie now!

RC, Discover Island, and the other uncompleted half of POP! Century need attention!

Of the reviews you've seen, how many are positive?

They probably won't do anything to the unfinished half of POP, except demolish it. I've read they can't build on the foundation anymore because it's overgrown with weeds so they'd have to start over again.

Micechat shows mostly positive reviews, which is good.

With Lincoln, it wasn't about being flashy or a new attraction, just a return to the old one (and the highlights of previous versions), with an updated technology.

I'm happy its back, though! And I love The Disneyland Story exhibits in the Opera House lobby.

I want to know who the genius was that designed Tomorrowland '99 and thought "OMG! You know what would go perfectly here?!!? HISTA!!"

What could replace it... I wouldn't be surprised if it was something Monsters Inc, or Wall-E.

I would *HOPE* not Monster's, Inc... I've yet to find a valid argument of why it contributes to one of these things:
1. "A World on the Move"
2. A positive future
3. New technologies (not talking about the technology of the live comedy show like at WDW, I mean the technology being a focus)

Wall-E is pretty feasible to me, though its not necessarily a "positive future" it is a grand one.

Well, they've used children's laughter as a renewable source. That's new technology, right? Kind of world on the move (unless you mean transportation) and it's a positive future because laughter doesn't release much (if any) greenhouse gases, and so on.
