Just a Dream Away- The Imagineering Thread*Are you curious, imaginative, dedicated?

I have a practical idea for all 3D films. Why not make all the seating like in a cinema, where every row is higher then the one in front. I don't know why they haven't done that in the first place. It saves having the 3D effects destoyed by someone's head in front of you...

Yeah, and don't worry my feelings won't be hurt if you don't like it :p

It's perfectly gitchy Disney with a singing Irishman and real alligators. (Mr. Biddle has like.. 20 of them)

Ok. :p

GATORS?!?!?! I like it already. XD

Yeah there's a point about... midway-ish to end where the alligators are roaming rampant and one of their new maids is flipping out xD

John Lawless is the narrator, sorta, he talks to the camera and Mr. Biddle calls him out on it at one point.

"John... who are you talking to? *looks at camera*?"
"No one, sir *wink*"
"Well... alright then. You know what they say about people who talk to themselves, don't you?"

YAY GATORS!

:rotfl: I love it when characters break the fourth wall.

xD
He does that a lot.

It's a really cute movie, and though nearly 3 hrs on the roadshow version, moves at a pretty quick rate. It's now one of my faves.

Besides, Are We Dancing? is so gonna be the first dance song at my wedding... my Disneyland castle wedding.. 'cause I'm marrying a millionaire...

Woooooh. Getting OT xD

If you ever go to DL, The Happiest Millionaire is honored several ways:

Inside Cafe Orleans, the set of Clancy's Bar is inside.
Inside Club 33 (god I wish I could see this), they have the Biddle's gorgeous telephone box (wood and glass), with a real working phone.
Main Street has a shop called Fortuosity, which is the opening number in THM.
Finally, "Let's Have a Drink on It" and "Fortuosity" are on the Main Street loop.

I may have to watch this movie... Maybe it'll be on TV soon.

So.

I was thinking about the Partners statue today.. and how though its the same in WDW, DL, The Disney Legends Plaza, etc., they all mean something different today.

In the MK, I feel like it's Mickey showing Walt around the kingdom he never saw.

In DL, I feel like Walt and Mickey are appreciating their work, together, as (you guess it) Partners!

In the Legends Plaza, they're kindof looking over all of the plaques/legends and admiring all of those who kept the magic alive.

I don't know.. food for thought.

Interesting thought.

Wanna know something interesting about the scenery in the China & Japan. China prefers things that are calm, gentle, and peaceful, which is represented in the still water ponds, and relaxing foliage. Japan is more exciting, adventureous, and fast, also represented by the running water, and more sharper foliage.

Interesting, yes?

Did you hear they're building a Far Far Away Castle at Universal Studios Singapore, based on the castle in Shrek? Copying Disney, or not?

I would say no...

They're building one in Singapore. Read about it yesterday.

Maybe slightly, but speaking as someone who has lived in Singapore--I can't imagine they'll have much land for a big park... Though a ton of casinos have been springing up in the past decade since I left, so... I'm probably not the best source xD

No point in posting my announcement on the last post of the last thread... So... Yeah... Tokyo Disney SEA has some nice decorations for Halloween.
