Just a Dream Away- The Imagineering Thread*Are you curious, imaginative, dedicated?

I totally had plans to go into Playhouse Disney Live when at DHS by myself, but chickened out at the last moment :p
I don't know if I would do it alone, but if I was there with friends I certainly would have done it.

If my sisters were with me, we'd probably had done it. We're the teens who want to eat at Hollywood & VIne to see the Little Einsteins, Jojo and Goliath!

You know, as cool as it is for a villain park, I really am in the crowd to cater to things ALL AGEs would like. Which is why part of me hates the FL makeover, in the way it's all really kid-interactive, not so much adult-interactive. I'm happy to see the greenery and scenery being put up, but still.. not so adult-friendly. Dumbo queue? Sit around on bleachers for a while while a bunch of kids run around? Oh boy, sounds like fun!

you better believe im going to be running around playing all the games, not sitting in the bleachers. disney was made for kids and kids at heart. you wanna sit around? cool. but i know im not. whats the fun in that?

when my group and i go to disney, i swear people find us obnoxious because we arent afraid to dance around in the streets, laugh at all the ridiculous jokes and make disney as magical for us as we can. cast members love us to death because we play along and arent tacky tourists standing around with their cameras bewildered and feeling embarrassed to move it shake it celebrate it.

im not ranting, just generally proclaiming how ridiculous my friends and i are. ;)

and just an afterthought: i think the zero at DL's halloween thing is really cute. i dont know if anyone has been going to MNSSHP at WDW as long as i have, but does anyone remember when they used to have a witch fly? kinda bummed that they dont do that anymore :\

Never been during Halloween time (well I have, but not to MNSSHP) so I don't remember that... I hate how I can barely remember things from past trips to Florida. I know our second trip was in September-October (a couple of weeks after 9/11) and it was our first time going around World Showcase, but I don't remember seeing the food & wine festival... I also remember watching Fantasyland in the Sky and seeing TInkerbell fly down from the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace, but I don't remember the fireworks show at all. Only thing I remember about Fantasmic is getting a cup of hot chocolate.

But then, I have memories nobody else in my family does. I remember waiting for my sister, dad & aunt to get off Splash Mountain, while I waited with my mum and other sister in the train station. I fell asleep, and the others came back. One of my sisters came over to me and hit me to wake up, and I started crying because it startled me. Also, I remember walking back to our car in the MGM car park, and finding a wounded bird walking along. We walked along after it, whilst someone went to get a Cast member to help it.

Memories are fun. But to answer your question, no I don't remember seeing a witch.

I suck at sketching. I have the idea in my head. And I can't draw.

I just suck at drawing period :p Wish I could draw.

I kinda like the entrance to Philharmagic, though i've never been during a time where I actually have to wait in line... Kinda sad really since I want to look at the posters, but I also want to watch the show!

too bad there isn't much space where the agrabah bazaar and magic carpet's of aladdin is, I wanted to put and different aladdin ride there...oh well I guess I'm going to have to close the short cut to frontierland.

how about we take out the tiki room and place the store for the aladdin ride there....and it can have a door that opens into frontierland! :thumbsup2:

Epcot desperately needs a new ride. What was the last ride? A Finding Nemo one in 2006 -_- Add that Mount Fujii rollercoaster, or the Canada raft ride! At least add a new country. Spain would be good!

I agree with spain being added! or a swiss pavillion with materhorn at the back....jjust like in P. 25 off "The Disney Mountains- Imagineering at its Peak"

The theming of the Tiki Bird building is quite good. On the side facing Adventureland, it looks like a grass hut with decorative carvings of something I forgot. On the Frontierland side, it looks more Westerny with carvings of bulls on the side, I think. I'd have to check my book.
