We moved into this house 3 years ago and we started out with one 'junk drawer' in the kitchen.. you know, dead batteries, screwdrivers, keys that don't open anything, dead flashlights, a handful of poker chips, pens that don't work...

I notice we are up to 2 junk drawers now... my husband has taken over another one...

Do you have a junk drawer? extra points for those who post a pic :flower:

Yes. And DH hates it! He complains about it all the time. I try to keep it fairly well-organized with a plastic box and silverware tray, but it gets out of hand quickly after I clean it out.

I think it is a requirement in every home.

I would have to include 1 shelf, 2 craft tables, and a v e r y messy storage room. :rotfl:

I sure would enjoy some pix from others though.

Yep, we have a junk drawer in the kitchen.

It's really not all that junky, though. It's mostly pens, paper, batteries, etc. The one junk thing that's in there is the key to my old Probe, which we sold years ago. Why I haven't thrown it away, I do not know.

Oh my yes, I am right there with you, 2 junk drawers in kitchen! :earseek:

I keep saying one day I need to clean them out! :guilty:

We have a kitchen junk drawer, but we also have a cabinet below and above a wet bar that we use to stuff bigger things. Not to mention a drawer in our mater bedroom, a shelf in the master closet, and a workshop in the basement. Oh, and we have a study with a junk drawer, too. Guess I have some cleaning up to do when the kids go to school in the fall...

I have a junk drawer in my kitchen and in my bedroom. I also have a junk room which is my office. I try and try and try to get it de-junked, but it always comes back.

Not really.

I have one 'catch all' drawer where we keep misc. stuff. Right now it has in it: Batteries (that work), straws, napkins, cell phone charger, etc. I can't do junk drawers. They drive me nuts.

We have one drawer called the junk drawer, but a few other drawers are pretty junky as well! Our junk drawer is pretty organized except for the fact that I toss in all the address labels that come in the mail and they sit on top of it all, quickly turning all my organization into a moot point since it's only the bottom layer.

You know what? I'm inspired. I only use those stupid labels when I pay bills anyway - I'm going to get up right now and put them in a file in the filing cabinet. I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier. My junk drawer thanks you!

Junk drawer #3 (dd's bedroom). So that's where that other Barbie shoe went!

Junk drawer #4 (kitchen). I never use that rolling pin. It used to be my mother's. Don't know why I don't just get rid of it. :confused3 I just cleaned that drawer out recently. It used to be much worse.

Just don't ask me to take pictures of my closets. :rotfl:

Two junk drawers in our kitchen. No, you cannot see a picture of them. :earboy2:

We have a junk drawer in our kitchen - it is hard to close - gotta shove the stuff in with one hand and close it with the other. And to open in you have to get a hand in and push the stuff down and pull the drawer with the other hand.

But I am with Mimi Q - you cannot see a picture of it :p

I think he is starting on 3 now... it is the drawer with the yellow pages in it, some memo pads & pens (that work!) I noticed he had a handful of nails in there :confused3

I have one in my kitchen. Same stuff everybody else seems to have. And, once I threw my dh out. I decided to use his entire 5 drawer bureu as a catch all. It has everything from my old check registers, to negatives, etc.. etc... I love it 5 drawers of fun!!

Where do you put the junk if you don't have junk drawers? :confused3

We have a terrible junk drawer in the kitchen - it is so full, you can barely open it sometimes.

I also have a junk drawer in by bedroom dresser. I've tried to not have this drawer, but I just can't help it.
