jungle cruise themed restaurant coming to mk

I know Jungle Cruise isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I happen to love it. I'm kind of thinking the restaurant might be a little bit like Trader Sam's in DL (without the alcohol, of course).

Oh my gosh, can you only imagine the waiters/waitresses telling you corny jokes or stories as they take your order and serve your food? Sign me up!

Also, if the restaurant has some interactive elements I think I might try to live there.

I wonder if the CS lunch will be with ADRs like BOG? (Disclaimer: I personally think they set a very bad precedent by allowing reservations for CS at BOG, so I'm afraid to see it pop up everywhere, now...)

Pardon my language but that would suck for all of them to start doing that.

We had a blast on our night time ride on the Jungle Cruise so this sounds nice. I'm not as thrilled with the idea that the counter service might require adr's though.

I don't think Tianas is really another princess themed resturant what else do we have?

Cinderellas Royal Table and Be Our Guest? First off it's incredibly cool to eat inside the castle regardless of the princess theme.

Be our guest translates to boys as well as the beast and the best thing about it is being IN THE MOVIE that sold it for me.

I just thought Tianas would have fit in adventureland and how cool would have been to eat in the resturant she saves so hard for...it easily could have had the jungle cruise motif they were going for too...


The Reason I bring this up is because look at the success of be our guest people want to connect like their in the films and eat where those characters have been...just my person opinion that I just assumed the success of be our guest night have translated to more movies come to life resturant!

I agree with everything you said. I think they should go for more BOG type experiences, and having Tiana's place would be sweet.

But...

I also want the Jungle Cruise restaurant. Just imagine, if this does well...what if they make a HM themed restaurant?? That would also be amazing.

All I ask is NO CHARACTERS PLEASE!!!! I don't need to see mickey and the gang in Jungle Cruise attire. If they make it how 50's Prime Time Cafe is where the waiters are the actors I would be pleased.

I would too. I have found some of the music on ITunes. Unfortunately not the fun narration.

I disagree with those who say Tiana would be a good fit in adventureland. I can see her more in Frontierland close to the river. I liked the PP who stated that it could fit in the Diamond Horseshoe building.

Which is why I'd much rather see a Pirate's or Haunted Mansion themed one. Not to mention they're better rides as well.

I think just as many people would enjoy a restaurant themed to a classic Disney attraction. Especially one located in Adventureland, where the restaurant will be housed. And it fits with the backstory of the Adventureland Verandah perfectly.

I'm imagining a restaurant that looks a lot like the queue of the ride and doesn't really have the animals. I'm thinking that the names of the foods will have some sort of poor skippers on a budget theme. For example, there might be "don't be a zebra" on the menu that tastes remarkably like steak. The shrimp might be "today's insects". You know? And the skippers will make comments about what you eat. If you get the water, they might talk about how they have to filter the water that is home to the largest array of rare tropical bacteria. I'm thinking it will be more jokes and such rather than an atmospheric experience.

I, too, think they will have less focus on the animals and more on the skippers. I'm thinking it'll look like a combo trader Sam's/adventurers club/the queue for jungle cruise. I'd be a bit disappointed if the waiters don't act like skippers

Also this. I think mk is second only to Epcot with cs places I like, but in my opinion Mk is sorely lacking in ts options. Bog is fabulous but it's harder than fort knox to get into for dinner.

Cp is Ok, but I'm not a huge fan of the dinner food and for the prices they charge I've only eaten there once.

Tony's is OK but not really a must do. Ltt was better with the characters. The plaza is just kind of boring to me.

There are the monorail resorts ts, but I don't always want to leave the park.

So I'm pretty excited for a new Mk ts, especially this one.
