Jungle Cruise-Go,Stay,Change?

My brother thinks I'm in the vast minority here but I think the jungle cruise should go or at least change with creation of AK. I don't think it works. So I say scrap it. Or at least, update it. Maybe a cruise with animals from disney movies (Simba, Baloo, etc.). A scary Scar would go in the dark section.

So what do you say: Jungle Cruise- it should stay, go, or change?

I want to combine the humor of the Jungle Cruise with the Kilimanjaro Safari! It could work. Especially the part with Little Red in the truck.

I like the Jungle Cruise. Go early, the guides are fresher.

it's a classic - too many originals are falling by the wayside - I think it's great, the little kids (and us big ones too) love it and there are many little ones yet to come. I vote to definitely KEEP IT.

KEEP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a classic, and I'd be so sad if it weren't there..... I don't think they should change it at all!!!! Love it the way it is!!!

I also know......... it usually, even in the value season...........has some of the longest lines.......... I love it, and think most people do!!!

I love every bit of its cheesy-ness and actually look forward to all those pitiful jokes...got to keep the classics...that being said - I'd also be crushed if they every fully retire the COP!!

Keep it! My son and I rode for the first time in Nov (kind of as an after thought) and Loved It! I can't wait to ride it with my hubby next Nov. (I hope it's as much fun the second time!)

KEEP IT PLEASE! I'm another who loves the cornyness of the ride. This was my DH 1st trip to Disney and know what? He loved the Jungle Cruise! That goes to show it still is appealing to newbies!!!!

Oh the Jungle Cruise HAS to stay! I dont really care if it is "classic" or "Walt original" or whatever. It has to stay because it is a GREAT ride!

The Jungle cruise is a classic. I would be so sad if it went away or changed. We have plenty of new things coming about in the parks, we NEED to have the Jungle Cruise stay, and stay the same.

I guess I'm with the majority because I say keep it. It is a classic and it is one of the first rides I head for, along with POTC and Haunted Mansion.

I can never figure out why people want to destroy time classic park rides. If you're not happy with the rides, go some place else. These are not thrill rides, MK was built by Walt to have a place to go for the family to enjoy. Screaming rollercoasters are for the teenagers, Disneys time classic rides are relaxing, informative and well represented. Refurbish rhem but never scrap them. COP is just about our favorite along with TikI Birds. Hated to see them take apart Country Bear Jamboree.
I've heard complaints over EWP, its old, get rid of it. Its been running forever, its free and still brings goose bumps to us watching it.
Leave the parks alone, up grade or add but never scrap or replace, its would never be the same.

YES KATHEE, YES YES YES!!!! I COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE. YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUTTA MY MOUTH!

THERE ARE CERTAIN THINGS THAT I RARELY GO ON ANYMORE BUT FEEL AS THOUGH WDW WOULDN'T BE THE SAME WITHOUT (ex: Carousel of Progress, Jungle Cruise, Hall of Pres, Coutry Bear Jamboree...). I SELDOM VISIT THESE ATTRACTIONS BUT IF I WENT TO WDW AND SAW THEY WERE MISSING, IT MIGHT REDUCE ME TO TEARS. I'M NOT A BIG FAN OF CHANGE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO WDW. I WELCOME THE ADDITION OF NEW ATTRACTIONS BUT SHUN THE IDEA OF REMOVING THE ORIGINAL ATTRACTIONS THAT PUT WDW ON THE MAP IN THE 1ST PLACE.
IN FACT, BRING BACK THE SKYWAY RIDE! I MISS IT!

And if they replace the classics with new stuff, what are they going to replace it with? Rides based on Kim Possible and That's so Raven????

OK OK. I take it back. Yikes. Not one agreed with me. I guess I'm one of the few long time disney fanatics who really was not upset that Horizons, World of Motion, and yes, Mr. Toad's went bye-bye. I love Test Track , Pooh is harmless, and you couldn't pay me to go on Mission Space.

Sorry. And here I was gonna see how many of you thought they should junk the Haunted Mansion (just kidding!)

MJM please do not get me started on how upsetting it is to not be able to ride Mr. Toad anymore. I dearly loved that ride. It did make it more bearable to find the hidden Toad memorbilia in the ride though. Pooh was a nice replacement. I quite enjoy that ride. I absolutely detest Test Track. I know a lot of people like it, but for us country boys and girls who've lived out on rural roads trust me it is nothing special. Test track can't touch the pot holes that I've put my car over! HA!!

Please keep it just as it is. We had Pete as our tour guide, he was a riot. Why would you want to change something as popular as JC is? JMO
