Jungle Cruise boat sinks

It's not personal, being a frequent Disney guest I see people all the time demanding free stuff, arguing with CM's at the FP+ tap points, arguing with CM's at dining etc. I think there are more unhappy guest every visit. Like I said, I do agree with the damage being taken care of but so what if you get wet. We all walk around in the rain and no one that I know of demands compensation for that or do they? It wouldn't surprise me. And …. I had a few drinks. Enjoy your night or better yet, enjoy my post! 😘
If I were wearing flip flops or sandals I wouldn’t care, but if I were wearing socks and running shoes and my feet were totally soaked? At the very least, I would have to go back to my resort, and change my shoes. I can see them giving some kind of compensation for that.

There is a difference between walking through ankle high water because you have to, in order to evacuate and avoiding puddles when it rains. My socks and running shoes generally don’t get soaked when it rains. And if they do? That’s on me.

When I first saw the headlines that the boat sank, I was concerned - but this boat did not sink - it was partially submerged, there were areas to be above the water (for the most part) and it stopped from going any lower because it was in shallow water.
