I'm constantly surprised that Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse remains. At least when I was young, they would still show the movie occasionally - and with limited TV or cable, you watched it. I don't think I've seen it on TV in 20+ years. It has zero relevance to most people today.
True, but look at the attraction itself. It has no moving parts, no animatronics, no cast members needed during the day, and it sits on a plot of land that would be difficult to do anything else with. In other words, some paint and prop maintenance is all that is needed to keep it open, and closing and replacing it with something more relevant or better is difficult to imagine. We walked through it with my 7 year old daughter in December. Probably the first time I've been up there in over 20 years. It was fine. A good way to kill some time before our next FP. She certainly liked it better than the Tiki Room, although the same can not be said for me!
