We are doing a whale watching excursion with a glacier drop off. What would be the best/cheapest way to return back to the port for a party of 7? Thanks!

Do you want to go back to downtown Juneau and pick up the free Disney shuttle to the ship, or directly back to the ship?

Which glacier are you dropped off at? If Mendenhall, there's a big blue bus that is $20 round trip. It's called the Mendenhall Glacier Express. See http://www.travellingwithnikki.com/2014/02/how-to-get-to-the-mendenhall-glacier/ We of course started at the pier so I'm not sure how it works buying tickets from the glacier. I saw that a taxi is $30 one-way.

In Juneau assuming the Disney Wonder gets the dock furthest from town (which commonly happens) they will provide a Disney shuttle bus that runs every 10-15 minutes from right outside the ship to downtown Juneau. It's free. We ran into snag when we booked a port adventure though Disney that picked us up right from the ship and took us to downtown for our Float Plane to Taku Glacier Lodge. After our Port Adventure they offered to take us back to the ship but since we were in the middle of downtown Juneau we wanted to tour around a bit. We looked around,got some great locally roasted coffee beans and then wanted to head to the ship. We knew about the free Disney bus, problem was since we hadn't taken it into town, we had no idea where it picked up. We went to the town square where everything seemed to be. No Disney bus stop. After walking all over, we finally went to the city free help kiosk outside in the square. They pointed us down the pier area a bit and we did find our Disney bus pick up spot (with a line of people waiting to leave). If you plan to use the free Disney bus from Juneau back to the ship, just make sure you ask and know where the pick up spot is in downtown before you leave the ship in the morning!

Oh Lord, it's been a while since I've been there. I don't remember there being anything as fancy as a taxi stand though! I did see that Uber is in Juneau, it just quoted $50 online for an Uber XL from the glacier to the port. The bus was really easy as far as I remember.
