Know it's early but was wondering if anyone has gone around the first week in June before? Anyone know what are the usual "deals" around this time are?

We went the first week of June this year.
I want to say we had a room discount, but then we added tickets & ddp.
Whatever the deal, Coronado Springs wound up being only a $100 more for the week than POP.
That being said, we decided to never go in June again, mostly because of the heat. But we got good use of the pool at CS.

We went that week in June 2011. It was super hot and very humid. We stayed off site because we used SIL's timeshare. We got good prices on flights during that time. I didn't think the crowds were too horrible most places but Star Wars weekend was nuts!

We have gone the last 6 years in June. Once DD started Jr high and they frowned on us taking her out for a week in September. We actually went the last few days of May thru the first week of June, by the time we left it got increasing more crowded but still less that later on in June. I didn't mind the heat at all. July was HOT June was good, but a lot of rain which worked out well because a lot of people didn't come out and we had less crowds to deal with. Looking forward to going again in September. We usually stay at Coronodo Springs and I think it was 30% off the room rate but we always add on the tickets and dining to make it a package.

We went this year right before Father's Day weekend. I was surprised at how much we did and how much we enjoyed it. I have two kids in middle school/high school and there is no taking them out of school now. We used early arrival at the park and fast passes and never felt that waited in super long lines.

We have gone in June two times and had good deals both times. One time we got the room in Pop Century for around $100 and thought it was well worth it. The other time I had a discount thru Disney Visa card. We stayed at Contemporary and loved it.

You may want to look at the calendar for early June because there are big groups going at that time. Gay days and cheerleading?

It is fairly low crowds compared to other summer times. When it rains, it is usually for a short time in the late afternoon.

You may also want to look into YES tickets if you plan on taking your kids to the "classes." Lots of info out there on YES.

The first week of June is usually Star Wars weekend and Gay Days.
We were there this year for the weekend that was both.
DHS was PACKED all weekened. Lots of special Star Wars events/parades.

It was much more crowded than when we usually go in Oct.

As far as deals, not sure we are DVC.
