Last time we visited WDW in June was six years ago. I'd like to know the current weather and approximate level of attendance. We'll be there June 12 to June 19.

Years ago, it was only crowded Memorial Day Weekend, then it cleared out until the end of June. The weather was hot, but not unbareable. It did, however, rain every other day for 15 minutes.

Can I expect the same or has global warming changed things up a bit? :rotfl2:

Hi - we'll be there the same time as you. I'm sure it will be crowded, but not as bad as the last 2 weeks in June and the month of July.... the heat isn't fun, but bearable I guess (w/ mister fans!). Have you started looking at ADRs yet? I'm trying to, but it's so hard to put plans on paper w/ everything else going on right now!

We were there last year at this same time- first week out of school. Parks were busy, but with using fast passes and a little waiting we did almost everything we wanted- were there for 10 days too so I'm sure that helped getting everything done. Weather- it was hot, we took a lot of coolmax clothing and needed our rain ponchos about half the time.

Yes, I'm planning one table service lunch per day. We'll be staying at the GF in the Sugar Loaf concierge building, so light refreshments will be provided throughout the day. I figure we'll have breakfast in the lounge, have a sit down lunch, then snack in the evenings.

This Saturday will be 180 days for ADR, I'll be calling :)

Hi GoofyGal531

The last 2 times we've been at WDW was in June. I've managed to combine a family vacation with a work conference. Unfortunately both years were the first and second week in June. I have another conference that I'm trying to go to this year and guess what, it's in June!!

So.. to your questions. It's hot in June no question. So be sure to bring lots of sunscreen, hats and bottled water. We brought little insulated bottles with straps on them. We filled them with ice and water in the morning. Try and get out early in the morning so that you can come back in the afternoon for a rest or a swim at your resort.

Regarding attendance. In 2003 it wasn't bad when we went. We were there starting the first week for 12 days. It was busy but not crazy and we got to see most things we wanted to. However we were really well prepared. In 2005 it was much busier. We weren't as well planned this time but there were a lot more people as well. We were there for the same 12 days this time too. We tried one night at MK for an EMH and it was nuts. I mean nuts. We ended up just leaving and going back to the resort.

My advice for both your questions would be to get out early to the parks and do some planning before you go. The planning will really help. We used Tour Guide Mike which really helped a lot.

Regardless you'll have a great time in June at WDW! One of the things I remember is how nice it was at night after it would cool down to a warm summer night. Perfect after dinner and a swim. Nice and relaxing :goodvibes

We love going that week in June and have for the past two years plus it's my DS birthday:love: . I agree with the other poster, it's nice to have dinner then be able to go back to the resort for a swim. The weather is hot and there will be crowds but I still think it's my favorite time to go. DH wants to go during Christmas:santa: but not this year (building our house:woohoo:) !!! After all it is WDW no matter how bad the weather and crowds are!:cloud9: Have a great trip!

We went this year, about the time frame you are looking at. Weather was good, not too hot and we really lucked out with only one heavy downpour one evening at MGM. The crowds were busy, but not zoo-like. I imagine because some school don't let out until the end of June. All in all, I'd do it again !

HOT w/ showers anywhere from 12:00-5:00pm and CROWDED No two ways about it.
