June vs September

We just booked a June 2019 trip. In many years past we have always gone in September. I have been reading that despite the lower crowds in September WDW tends to operate at a lower capacity so to speak so will I see a big difference at the parks in terms of ride lines since I am assuming in June they will be operating at 100% capacity? Will the only big difference I see the number of people walking around?

I was there this year June 2-9 and also September 17-19.

Wait times didn’t feel all that different. It definitely felt more crowded at times in June when walking through the parks, but it didn’t really have much of an impact of what we got done each day in the parks.

I will say the heat in September was more brutal than June in my opinion. Every day in September had “feels like” temperatures at or close to 100. It was not that hot in June.

We are going back next June as I felt it was a great time to go.

We almost always go in June, but took our first September trip this year. As much as I love the fall and food and wine and Halloween, I don’t think I will ever return in September. The heat this week was brutal and the humidity was unreal. We would much rather go in June.
