June trip through AAA

I'm ready to make my reservation through AAA for the first week of June 2008. We are looking at CBR but options are open. If I book just room and basic MYW tickets can I add water park option and park hopping easily later? Should I just do it all now or hope for an upgrade? What have you done?

Yes you can add those once you get down and decide if you want them.

We do APs now with our DVC so we haven't done a package in a long time.

I have never booked a room through AAA but I have added the water parks and more option to my basic tickets. I've done this after we arrived at WDW and I've done it before making the trip.

Last year, Disney had a promotion that started in May and went through some time in June. The promotion was a slight room discount and a free water parks and more ticket upgrade.

I had already booked my room and had been paying on it for a couple of months when the promotion came out. I immediately called Disney and told them what I had found online. They applied the special offer to my existing reservation and I saved over $350.00!

Do you remember when that special was announced? We're ordering tickets next week - I think I'll wait on the park hoppers and water parks and more until we get there just in case a special shows up again.

If I am remembering correctly, I think it was around the first of May. At least that's when I found it on the website.

You will need to go to www.disneyworld.com. Click on Tickets & Reservations. When that page comes up, look for Special Offers on the left hand side of the page. Click on that and you'll find the current specials. That's where I found the discount I was talking about.

I am holding out on adding the water parks and more option until I see if they offer that special again!
