June/July dates Southwest WHEN ??

Any ideas or history when SW fares for June to July 7th dates will be out. Any good fares from Kansas City to Orlando ? Can get $188 onMidwest but hoping for $49 on Southwest. Is that likely ????

I am also looking at flying at the end of June and coming home July 8. We are flying anywhere around NW Ohio - Columbus, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Toledo, Detroit. Keeping my options open. We thought about driving, but that would cut our vacation down a few days. Plus, DH would get grumpy driving 17 hours. Not his favorite thing to do....

If we could find round trip for $150.00 or less per person, that would be great....

It helped me scoop up some great fares for our Spring Break trip. We're flying out of Kansas City for $49 each way, so it's possible you could get a similar deal. Good luck!

Flyer talk predicts more dates MIGHT open this week: "my initial guess for the next extension is January 4, 2007 (at the usual 10 AM Central Time), with the new horizon extending to mid-June."

Which means you may have to wait for the next window after that. I need August, and it looks like I will miss the next 2 windows. Or, my trip may end up being in the middle of the cut off. So, I may have to book flights down, then wait for more dates to book return!
