Happy Spring
Got in very late on friday night. Ugh.

And had to catch up around here for work tommorrow.
We had a great time. Will just do a short summary for you guys.
Flying on thursday, was sooooooooo much easier. Not half as crowded as trying to get to chicago / midway with traffic. Lines moved quickly. Midway was great. But would be a great place to put a few more eateries. Not much to pick from, as we where looking for dinner.
Hyatt MCO. OMG

Was beauitful. So convient and easy. We where very tired, and worked great. We had a huge balcony (take about 10, wdw balcony's and put them togther) {and I am NOT kidding} and doors opened out, it was a beautiful night about 70's with a breeze. I wanted to sleep with them open. Bug, stopped that.

But, I would not hesitate to do that again. Now, had I been able to get our resort for the day, yes we would of done that but > since it wasn't available: it worked like a charm.
National EA: our 1st time being "executive" members. We looked up and down. Mostly cause there was soooooooo much to pick from. Aparantly 9am is a great time to choose. We scored a black suv, escape, {ford}. Leather, sun roof, sat radio. Wow. 4000 miles on it only. No problems. In and out.
AKL / Kidani: Ok, I know you DVC people are waiting..... . Our room was not what I requested. The CM, told me "trust me, you don't want 5th floor or over on that far end". She put us in rafiki, 2nd floor right off the lobby. It was the oposite side of where you where EE22. I was scared hearing off the lobby. Thinking too much noise??? But, with there set up of lobby, then viewing areas, in the hall > then some CM areas, it was down just a little. Great angle 2nd floor viewing is. Perfect. The noise we heard, was more the hoards of people talking, or kids [with their dad's] running like elephants outside our room and down the hall. But, only noticable when in the main room or kitchen area. The bedroom was very quiet. Room was very nice. Clean, and well cared for. For those of you with maps: Room 7606. Large balcony. I looked out {we got room at 3pm} and saw: girraff's, zebras, birds, cattle, kudu, wilderbeast,. . . . . and they where there constantly. Being near the main viewing area, we always could see animals. Some times during the day, no one was out, and most times they all have there favorite areas. Parking was great. We always parked by the elevator for rafiki and near the pool area. We never used the bus, drove everywhere so not an issue.
I didn't feel it was too far out at all. Having stayed by mk, you have probably just as long a drive to dhs or epcot. So no big deal. I didn't think the room was too dark. It is the light bulbs. When they are on for a while then they get brighter. So didn't feel that was an issue at all. As for the decor, I liked the "african" type wood and furnishings. Not a fan of the brown paint, to the kitchen cabients. Kinda don't work? Looks like I painted them with left over paint. Would of been beauitful with the african wood, like the rest of the 1 br. The bathroom. Wow, I almost drowned in the tub, {i am not kidding} turned on the jets and slid down> should of been filmed for america's video's. It must be 7 ft. long. I am 5'1" and had about a foot and half to the ends. The shower was great. And the lion king tile > to die for.
Now, I think I read it cost dvc 45.00 a day for "cleaning" But, each day our room wasn't done while we where out. We would come back and then they showed up "do you want us not to clean today..." Some days it was after 5pm and still not done. Just to get out of doing it. I did skip it once, was really late, but after that I was going to deduct the 45.00 /day if they skipped us.
Mousekeeping was disappointing at best anyway. We are not messy with only 2 of us. So 1 bed to do, and the bathroom. But I know they didn't clean the tub. [half the time] and the shower. The towels are really sub-par. For the $$$$ they should of been plush, but this is std. throughout wdw. Some days we got only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths. A note if you want / need more > call.

I kept leaving a note no freebreeze, asthma & allergies, so they didn't use it, but kept throwing away my note. Even after I wrote please do not through out note.... .
Kitchen was entertaining. We attempted to cook a few things. Pizza from the tiny store at kidani. But they sell the frozen pizza > but no cooking sheet for it, or pizza cutter? Hacked at it with a knife. Then I tried to make scrabbled eggs no spatula / scraper thing? Kinda odd things missing in kitchen you need, and other things you got you would not use. So we didn't try cooking anymore.
Was not a fan of room service here. And Sanana ?sp quit serving breakfast altogther.

Just lunch and dinner. Did not like the food options here. akl would be better in that regard.
Weather, WOW. 80's to 90 daily and no clouds, no rain. Didn't even think about it. Perfect. Light breeze.
Parks where packed. But, we worked around that. Better than last year. The 2nd week let up a little. Followed the "unofficial guides" ideas and they worked great.
Dining. Loved: Canada's LeCelliar, France's Les chefs, Marakesh, liberty tree, planet hollywood. Best meal: brown derby [twice] with mama melrose and primetime 50's close 2nd's.
Not so good: Tony's town square. We actually walked out. Several problems, with the kicker: bug's sausage barely cooked and my meatball's raw. only the tiny layer outside was browned. The chef actually said: it doesn't change color they are supposed to be red inside. I said I could eat a little red but not 90% of it. It is not cooked. After arguing > I said I could take it in the back myself and bet it changes color.... Then asked for manager > offered free meal of anything to eat. Told her that is not what I wanted > I now don't feel like eating anything since we are upset, and just want to leave. ...... Was not pretty. And we cancelled the other tony ressie I had.

The fast food places where all ok, just packed. Didn't see alot of "dining plan people". Think they are getting the FF one now?
Anyway, we are tired, and not wanting to work tommorrow.

Vader missed us. Dad missed us. Mom was lost?
Candi, glad you had a great time. Sorry about the camera, and rain.
EE22, Happy spring break. Are you ready for California?????
