as it seems i will be able to set aside more than originally thought. im getting over $700 this week, after groceries, and one bill.. i will still have most of it left.. so im setting aside at least $200 probably more this week.... then on the 31st when i get paid again.. i will have the whole check to myself no bills on it no nothing.. all to disney! well after grocires obviously.. but yeah... im guessing at about a total of $1,000 for disney this month!!

I heard it is busy at Disney, but mky and Bug know how to beat the crowds!:cutie:

I also heard the weather is very nice...80 degrees!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I'm sure the cruise is nice for Candi as well!

Ok....so after Ive been so sick this past week, (Broncial Infection again), I am finally back to the land of ....".Happy" !! Yay !:dance3:
Hope MKY and Bug and Candi are haveing a Blast in the world !!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

A few more months for the rest of us going this summer !!party:

AND......what would make me even more happier now, would be the release of the summer AP room rate Discounts !!! :cloud9:

We are back home today. We had a great time! The weather was pretty good and any rain we had did not ruin the day for us.

We did end up loosing Ward's camera but we are hoping someone turned it in at either Coral World or the car rental company. He did not have our address label on it like I do on my camera. Send some pixie dust our way!

The day we got off the ship was a wash as everyone was so tired. We had dinner at 1900 Park Fare and played a round of miniture golf and that was it.

Our luggage gained as much weight was we did and we had issues with being overweight coming home. We did some creative carryone in order to avoid any charges.

Now to decide what to do next!

Happy Spring :flower3:
Got in very late on friday night. Ugh. :sad2: And had to catch up around here for work tommorrow.

We had a great time. Will just do a short summary for you guys.
Flying on thursday, was sooooooooo much easier. Not half as crowded as trying to get to chicago / midway with traffic. Lines moved quickly. Midway was great. But would be a great place to put a few more eateries. Not much to pick from, as we where looking for dinner.

Hyatt MCO. OMG :woohoo: Was beauitful. So convient and easy. We where very tired, and worked great. We had a huge balcony (take about 10, wdw balcony's and put them togther) {and I am NOT kidding} and doors opened out, it was a beautiful night about 70's with a breeze. I wanted to sleep with them open. Bug, stopped that. ;) But, I would not hesitate to do that again. Now, had I been able to get our resort for the day, yes we would of done that but > since it wasn't available: it worked like a charm. :thumbsup2

National EA: our 1st time being "executive" members. We looked up and down. Mostly cause there was soooooooo much to pick from. Aparantly 9am is a great time to choose. We scored a black suv, escape, {ford}. Leather, sun roof, sat radio. Wow. 4000 miles on it only. No problems. In and out.

AKL / Kidani: Ok, I know you DVC people are waiting..... . Our room was not what I requested. The CM, told me "trust me, you don't want 5th floor or over on that far end". She put us in rafiki, 2nd floor right off the lobby. It was the oposite side of where you where EE22. I was scared hearing off the lobby. Thinking too much noise??? But, with there set up of lobby, then viewing areas, in the hall > then some CM areas, it was down just a little. Great angle 2nd floor viewing is. Perfect. The noise we heard, was more the hoards of people talking, or kids [with their dad's] running like elephants outside our room and down the hall. But, only noticable when in the main room or kitchen area. The bedroom was very quiet. Room was very nice. Clean, and well cared for. For those of you with maps: Room 7606. Large balcony. I looked out {we got room at 3pm} and saw: girraff's, zebras, birds, cattle, kudu, wilderbeast,. . . . . and they where there constantly. Being near the main viewing area, we always could see animals. Some times during the day, no one was out, and most times they all have there favorite areas. Parking was great. We always parked by the elevator for rafiki and near the pool area. We never used the bus, drove everywhere so not an issue.
I didn't feel it was too far out at all. Having stayed by mk, you have probably just as long a drive to dhs or epcot. So no big deal. I didn't think the room was too dark. It is the light bulbs. When they are on for a while then they get brighter. So didn't feel that was an issue at all. As for the decor, I liked the "african" type wood and furnishings. Not a fan of the brown paint, to the kitchen cabients. Kinda don't work? Looks like I painted them with left over paint. Would of been beauitful with the african wood, like the rest of the 1 br. The bathroom. Wow, I almost drowned in the tub, {i am not kidding} turned on the jets and slid down> should of been filmed for america's video's. It must be 7 ft. long. I am 5'1" and had about a foot and half to the ends. The shower was great. And the lion king tile > to die for.
Now, I think I read it cost dvc 45.00 a day for "cleaning" But, each day our room wasn't done while we where out. We would come back and then they showed up "do you want us not to clean today..." Some days it was after 5pm and still not done. Just to get out of doing it. I did skip it once, was really late, but after that I was going to deduct the 45.00 /day if they skipped us.
Mousekeeping was disappointing at best anyway. We are not messy with only 2 of us. So 1 bed to do, and the bathroom. But I know they didn't clean the tub. [half the time] and the shower. The towels are really sub-par. For the $$$$ they should of been plush, but this is std. throughout wdw. Some days we got only 2 towels and 2 wash cloths. A note if you want / need more > call. :confused3 I kept leaving a note no freebreeze, asthma & allergies, so they didn't use it, but kept throwing away my note. Even after I wrote please do not through out note.... .
Kitchen was entertaining. We attempted to cook a few things. Pizza from the tiny store at kidani. But they sell the frozen pizza > but no cooking sheet for it, or pizza cutter? Hacked at it with a knife. Then I tried to make scrabbled eggs no spatula / scraper thing? Kinda odd things missing in kitchen you need, and other things you got you would not use. So we didn't try cooking anymore.
Was not a fan of room service here. And Sanana ?sp quit serving breakfast altogther. :confused3 Just lunch and dinner. Did not like the food options here. akl would be better in that regard.

Weather, WOW. 80's to 90 daily and no clouds, no rain. Didn't even think about it. Perfect. Light breeze.
Parks where packed. But, we worked around that. Better than last year. The 2nd week let up a little. Followed the "unofficial guides" ideas and they worked great.

Dining. Loved: Canada's LeCelliar, France's Les chefs, Marakesh, liberty tree, planet hollywood. Best meal: brown derby [twice] with mama melrose and primetime 50's close 2nd's.

Not so good: Tony's town square. We actually walked out. Several problems, with the kicker: bug's sausage barely cooked and my meatball's raw. only the tiny layer outside was browned. The chef actually said: it doesn't change color they are supposed to be red inside. I said I could eat a little red but not 90% of it. It is not cooked. After arguing > I said I could take it in the back myself and bet it changes color.... Then asked for manager > offered free meal of anything to eat. Told her that is not what I wanted > I now don't feel like eating anything since we are upset, and just want to leave. ...... Was not pretty. And we cancelled the other tony ressie I had. :headache::mad: The fast food places where all ok, just packed. Didn't see alot of "dining plan people". Think they are getting the FF one now?

Anyway, we are tired, and not wanting to work tommorrow. :sad2: Vader missed us. Dad missed us. Mom was lost?

Candi, glad you had a great time. Sorry about the camera, and rain.

EE22, Happy spring break. Are you ready for California?????

TP2 & Tomar, bring on summer!

JMouse, good savings!

mky:cutie:

Sorry forgot,

Owners locker: Great! as usual. There when we checked in, and got notice, when they picked them up. They make traveling so easy.

Minnie, Thank you! :thumbsup2

:banana::banana:
Hiya MKY!! sounds great!
your location on 2nd floor is probably where I would not have wanted to be with the hall traffic, but sounds like you were okay to sleep since the bathroom blocks the noise from the hallway. Glad you had critters!

glad you had a good time:cheer2::cheer2:

EE22, that is what I thought too. But we went up to 5th floor, and did like the lower floor for viewing. We could see everything. Eye level with giraff's.

mky:cutie:

Hi Everyone: Finished my last paper of the semester last night.:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: Now back to the fun stuff!!!:goodvibes

MKY: Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. We are still on the fence about getting a car but you are making me think it is a much better idea than the buses. My big thing was always catching something while being crammed like a sardine in that bus.:scared1: We can still use the bus too. We just booked a small car for getting around, no real "trips" planned but nice alternative.

Candi: Sounds like you had a great trip too, other than loosing the camera. That is awful. Plus all the pictures from your trip are on there.:headache:

Tomar: So glad you are feeling better. I guess it has been awhile, which is a good thing, but life has been nutso here.

Good Afternoon Ladies !!:goodvibes

MKY- Welcome back !!
Thank you for the mini Trip Report...sounds like you had gorgeous weather, and had a good time !! :cloud9:
I thought about you in the world enjoying that Beautiful Weather , we weren`t so fortunite here, most days we still were in the freezing zone...ick :headache:
This is actually the first week Im comeing back to myself, all the while you were in the world, I had a Broncitis infection ...(ONCE AGAIN...UGH !) I thought I was getting better, but probably relapsed, and now Im back on the Prednisone !! O M G !!:scared1:...the NUTSO med !:scared1:
Still waiting for the next round of AP room discounts for the summer...Hoping for something to come SOON !!

EE22- Hope you rested on Spring Break, but knowing you, you probably had a gazillion things to do !!:dance3:

TP2- Yaay ! :yay:...Glad you are going to be doing more of the fun stuff now !!:yay::woohoo::yay:...(hope we can get some warm weather coming our way soon )..:lovestruc

Hiya everyone! :yay:

Tomar, So sorryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy you've been sick. I got a sinus thing starting now, but otherwise been holding on. Good luck with the "roids". Ugh. I know, popcorn:: just hang on and tell mr. tomar not to crowd you. :rolleyes1 Need a lot of space when I am doing roids. And should also be locked in a closet for the week and then some. :rotfl: Feel better soon.

TP2, so proud of you. Working away. The thought of doing school work now, I would never finish.

EE22, Hope you had a great break. Now the count down to college is getting too close. princess:

Candi, any word on your camera? Bug, has donated 2 to wdw already. 1st one we got back. left in a poly resturant and the next patrons said ooh no camera here and the staff made them get up and it was behind one of them. #2 she left on the car roof in epcot parking lot. Got to gate > remembered ran back and >> gone. All of them had address labels so it was not turned in. She called and called and nothing. But, she never did that again. I will say in her defense she was strung out on allergy meds [while they where treating her severe hives, > found to be chocolate] so she wasn't thinking clearly.

Work was busy, and went so slowly today. A new nurse is planning her honeymoon at wdw. Through a travel agent and taking a package. I've been doing research for her this evening and think I can beat it easily. I really think if no "general" codes come out for oct. [her dates] she might be better off at the swan/dolphin "nurse" rate. Otherwise, she is looking at pop or possibly po-fq. If she can swing it. Not sure what her budget is. Just got alot of different prices and through in the aaa rate. the 50.00 join fee would not hurt her would save her more money and still get the benefits of membership. What do you guys think? or what about swan/dolphin? same $$$ as po-fq but next to 2 parks, nice pool, and view. They are honeymooning room service might be nice? Well, I am just giving her the info she can make her decisions. :confused3

Have a great night. mky :cutie:

I will try to catch up soon...just running around like a crazy person. I was in the Variety Show tonight and it runs again tomorrow. Track meets have started...one down...21 more to go.

DD has 36 days of school left...just can't believe it. We can register her for orientation soon so I will be glad when we know that date!!

106 till DL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm here!!! :yay: Going in July AND August!!! July 25th-31st @ the Poly and August 17th-29th at CSR! CAN'T WAIT!!!!

MKY: I would suggest Swan and Dolphin too. Only thing is I know they charge lots of fees for parking and resort. Not sure if you figured that in when you came up with a price. Plus, on a honeymoon I am sure they would like a more adult theme. They have nice restaurants and they can walk the Boardwalk at night to go to Jellyrolls. Not to mention walking to Epcot. I definately say go with S/D, even if it costs a couple of extra dollars. They will have a completely different vacation. No brainer.

MKY: I am 99% sure that they do not. But I will look into it to make sure. You also cannot get the dining plan. But some of the restauants in the hotels offer those Restaurants.com vouchers. They do have transportation to the parks though.
