Evening ladies.:wave2:

Yes, I love fantasmic [have opening music on cell phone ring] :thumbsup2 We have only done the dinner pkgs. I refuse to wait in line. We did think we would skip it this time, cause we have seen it so much.
Did you notice parts cut out? I was sure, stuff was missing last august. I also thought little mermaid was cut? They are still great shows, but you know what is cut out, and miss it. Probably, want you out in the park spending money instead of in the theater.

I heard disney lost quiet abit this last quarter, Hmmmm, better check my 1 share of stock.:scratchin Guess they are trying to make cuts too.

I got all excited: had an email with title: Laura, disney has a special offer for you. Opened it and it said: by 4 videos for $1.00 join the disney dvd club..................... .:crazy2: Oooooooh that is a wick email. Thinking "yes" code time.................. I will skip a code for march now, but I want a bounce back for October.:hyper: pixiedust:

Hope everyone, is having a great wednesday! Still freezing here terribly, but still suppose to hit 50 on sat.::yes::

mky:cutie:

We have always done the package too for Fantasmic! We waited in line in December for the second show. No thanks! We won't be doing that again. I cannot imagine how hot it must be in the summer to stand there with all those people:crowded:

We didn't notice anything missing when we were there.

Did see that Disney lost too. Not good and hopefully with the cuts they are making...hours cut back I know, rehab (just closed), they will weather this well. I guess there are mansions closed too.

They still had the bounceback in Dec when we were there.

I received an envelop from Disney with nothing in it:rolleyes2

I hope we get the warm weather they are talking about SOON!!!

Hey Guys !:goodvibes
I was over on the Code`s board this morning and saw this little peice of info I thought you guys might like to know...:cheer2:
It seems that someone got an e-mail from thier TA..stateing that the 4/3 deal is being extended to August 15th !!!!!:hyper:
Not a sure thing I assume ..because some folks have called CRO...and they seem to know nothing about it....but we know better about such rumors right ??:goodvibes .....The announcement date is supposed to be Feb 9th !!!
Here is the link to the thread :

hmmmmm....can I rethink this year again :scared1: ....OMG !!! :rotfl:

MKY-:cutie: LOL...I recieved that same e-mail...."Maria ....we have a special offer for you."...my heart went in my mouth until I opened it with the "DVD offer" ... grrrrrrr:snooty: ;)

Hi Guys:wave2:

MKY: Good luck tomorrow, or is it next Friday that you have doctor appointments?

Tomar: I also saw that. People are also stating that free dining may be on the horizon for August 16. If that is the case I will keep our room only until free dining and then start the free dining reservation. Maybe leave on Wednesday instead of Monday. Not too much of a difference. Save the sitdowns for when FD starts. A girl can hope right.

Seems like everything is getting hit hard right now. A lot of restaurants are closing. I guess people are just not eating out so much anymore.

EE22: Hang in, Iowa has been hit really hard the last couple of years. Things need to change soon.pixiedust:

Candi: I am also watching those car rental prices. Way too high. I am thinking of renting for a long weekend just to break things us but not the entire trip. That way we can get out to restock but maybe we can get in on that $10 weekend rate with Alamo.

I think Friday the 13th is when mky goes to the doc.

I checked car rentals too...very high for summer now.

TP2: Okay, your the number person...the 7 for 4 is a discount on the room really, right? because the tickets decrease in price after more days? Yes?

Wondering as I know mky did 7 for 4...I think and didn't do ap rates.
I thought you were using 7 for 4 and not using ap rates, but perhaps I have brain freeze.

Not that I need the 7 for 4, but in case my free travel agent customers at work ask, I'd like to know :lmao:

Iowa needs a break that's for sure. I guess much of the federal disaster money isn't coming in because we have less people here...I try not to stay up on it as it's depressing, but I think that's the twist to it.

EE22: Yes, MKY booked 7 for 4 but she got the gift card too. And the discount is really only a room discount. I did not figure it out myself but it is widely reported that the discount is 43% off the room. The ticket portion is good if you buy the 7 day, add no experation, and water parks. I read it works out best with that ticket option. And there is something in there about upgrading to the AP. I have it saved, I can send it to you.

I got the free dining pin. Anyone know if ASMu has connecting rooms? CRO told me they don't.:confused3

No clue if they have connecting rooms. I would pm someone on the resort boards. So, are you going to do free dining for part of your stay?:cheer2:

Pin...as in email pin code...if so:cheer2: :cheer2:

Good Evening Ladies !!
I was just over on Mousesavers , and they are saying that they expect to be posting the 4/3 deal for the summer on Feb. 9th as well !
Its alittle confusing to me...as we have AP`s already and only need a weekend with an AP code...:goodvibes

TP2- some folks are saying that they recieved a pin code with the free "Stay Play and Dine" for children 5-10 ???:confused3 ...Does that sound right ???
Is that the one that you recieved ?....seems like a great code as well ...for families with kiddies !!

EE22- Thank you for reminding me  to wish........
MKY well... with her doctor`s appt....Pixiedust being sent for great results MKY !!!!pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Hiya everyone, :wave2:

pixiedust: 35 days to go!!!!!pixiedust:

Yes, don't have my test till next friday. Exactly 1 month before we go. I am really dreading prep day.

EE22, they are saying with the thaw and warm 50's weather this weekend > to watch for flooding. :rolleyes2 Be careful.

Yes, I worked the math and it actually was slightly cheaper doing the 7 for 4 & 9 for 4 pkg's. [with tix]. Better for us with saving my ap vouchures, till our next trip. Only thing I don't care for is: the pkg rules. about payment and refunds etc... . We did get a few perks, I didn't even know about. planet hollywood $15.00 certificate for dinner, and discount on merschandise, 1 sea raycer boat, golf free x1, luggage tags [very cool], gaming card for 30 minutes. I just got an envelope in mail. Supposed to get one the the 2nd half of trip too, I am guessing sometime late next week?

Hope everyone has a great thursday, mky:cutie:

Hi Guys!:wave2: Yes, free dining pin code for entire family starting August 16. Was able to book 14 nights one reservation. Originally booked the suites but then thought with free dining we don't need the microwave and fridge so 2 connecting rooms may work better. Everyone gets a bed, instead of pull out and we save $315.:woohoo: Then CRO says, "No, ASMu does not have any connecting rooms." Don't believe it. But now we have the $97 rate starting August 10 and free dining starting August 16. Need to sleep on the whole thing. Flying on weekends is usually a fortune so maybe wait until we get flights to make decision.:scratchin

mky...still have the boat from last summer:rolleyes: we have a lot of snow and the ground is frozen...hopefully it won't rain.

DH had a horrible test prep a couple of years ago...I heard they have something new that's not nearly as bad. I can't remember who did it now, but they made fun of DH as his was brutal.

Sounds like you did get some good extras with that package.

I wonder how all of this will help WDW? Free food, lower room rates and from what I understand people are not buying "stuff" while there? Seems odd, but I know we'll all take it for our wallets.

I'm hoping for an ap rate perhaps that beats the DVC discount but it's only one night. None of them do us any good with DVC and free dining time I'll be back at work in DS's senior year :scared1:

Thanks for the info TP2...ap rates were about 40% off through April.

TP2 - how exciting for you! :cool1:

MKY - if you plans change and you don't have a car in March, just let me know and we can change our plans to meet since we will have a car since we are not staying onsite and need to get to the ship on the Saturday.

It is freezing here tonight! :sad1:

Warm weather is coming...it went above freezing here today:cool1:
so sad that causes excitement for us!! :rotfl:

TP2- Sounds like you have some options now with your summer trip ...WHOO HOO :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

MKY- Praying that the prep goes well and everything is OK for you !!
I agree with EE22- sounds like your packages came with a few nice perks !!:goodvibes

EE22- Im glad your weather numbers are looking up "alittle " at least :flower3: ...It was a balmy 8 degrees here in New Jersey this morning ....BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:crazy:

Ouch - free dining is really starting on Aug 16th???????????? Crap, crap, crap, crap..... I've heard free dining is a crazy busy time to visit WDW :sad2:

DS's 16th b-day is Aug 16th so we are planning a surprise trip - was planning to fly in on the 16th. But now I'm not so sure..... We normally go in July but this one year wanted to go in Aug for this special birthday.

What to do what to do????? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Greys on so I will make it quick during the commercial!

Thanks everyone. I am excited that we can make some plans. I am really excited about looking at the dining plan. Opens so many doors. Just don't want to overplan and end up with a rigid schedule.

Glad you have your boat ready EE22! It is freezing here today too and supposed to be 45 degrees this weekend. Hoping we are done after that.

:wave2:

EE22, yes, we might need the boat too.;)

Candi, I have been on 1 trip without a car for 4 days. Never ever ever ever again.:rotfl: We drive everywhere. I like being on my schedule, not the disney bus.

TP2, :cheer2: Congrat's on the trip. Sounds like your all set. Come on airfares.:thumbsup2 If asmu doesn't have connecting, what about the other asm's? or pop?

Thanks everyone, for the good wishes.pixiedust:

mky:cutie:

It was the same temp here this morning Tomar...7 when I looked and in the 40's I hope tomorrow. The mailbox is now not engulfed in snow at least.

Minnie...it may not be busy given the way things are going:rolleyes2
you'd get free dining and a free ticket on the birthday.

NOTE my post #
glad I spent it here with all of you!:grouphug:
