It was the same temp here this morning Tomar...7 when I looked and in the 40's I hope tomorrow. The mailbox is now not engulfed in snow at least.

Minnie...it may not be busy given the way things are going:rolleyes2
you'd get free dining and a free ticket on the birthday.

NOTE my post #
glad I spent it here with all of you!:grouphug:

EE22- Congrats !!!!!
WHOOO HOOOOO !!!! 4000 !!:cheer2: :mickeyjum :cheer2: :mickeyjum :cheer2: :mickeyjum :cheer2: :mickeyjum :cheer2:

TGIF everyone !!:grouphug:

EE22 - way to go on the 4000 mark. :cheer2: :cheer2:

MKY - the last three times we went we did not rent a car at all. We I went this summer with just the girls, it was very convenient to just take the bus everywhere we went.

We have to rent a van for this trip because of the extra luggage with taking the cruise. But the cost of the rentals is about equal to the transfers to the ship and that would not be an option since we aren't going directly to the ship.
:thumbsup2

:wave2: :surfweb:

Just surfin today.

Is everyone enjoying a break from the cold? I was finally able to get out into the yard to clean up after the dog a bit. It is very mild out but we are getting a bit flooded. When the temperature drops again tonight, there will be a ton of ice.

Happy Saturday everyone!

:thumbsup2 Great weather here this weekend and we are down 25 inches of snow from last year. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of it though, but I sure hope we have. It's going to be in the 60's on Tuesday, but with rain so I'm not sure how warm it will feel.

It will make the time going faster to our trip though:hourglass with some better weather!!

One week of bball left...then track starts on Monday. I hope we don't have web feet like last year.

Hiya everyone!:yay:

Did some work today, and finished a couple of project's. Took our suitcases out of the attic, as I was up there [taking advantage of our heat wave];) This week will be coming up on 1 month.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.:cheer2:

mky:cutie:

Mky - Have you ever been to WDW in March??? I have a conference in Orlando in mid/late March so I might go down early with DM & DS for a quick weekend trip and then they'd fly home and I'd go to the conference (about 30 minutes away). We had to cancel 2 trips last year due to work so this would be a fun way to make that up ;)

Ready for irony guys??? I ended up 3 pin # for resort rooms. 2 emails and 1 post card - all for weeks when we can't go  It's really too bad they can't be used by others :guilty:

Still trying to decide on the August trip. I know we are lucky to be going at all but the free dining promotion means tons of people and it'll be over the first week so I'm worried. But DS has always wanted to go to WDW on his birthday :goodvibes

In my own words this fall to my students...
"when times are bad, deals at Disney are good."

I think I'll take no codes and the way things were:goodvibes
I did get the 40% off one and also the $500 giftcard one, but I think that one was sent to a lot of people. The 40% off was not for the summer.

Congrats on getting closer mky and Candi.

Good luck with planning Minnie.

Airfare from the corn is CHEAP for May...$29. I checked our flight and many of the seats are open.

Here's wishing cheap fares for TP2 and Tomar:wizard:

So I think we are set now. We got the free dining pin so I booked that last week for 2 weeks starting August 16. But while booking I asked about 2 connecting rooms at ASMu instead of the family suite. The cost difference is over $300 (tickets to water parks). CRO told me that ASMu does not have any rooms that connect I need to stay at ASSp.:scared1: Well, I don't want to stay there. We have 3 girls and they are not so sports minded so it does not really fit our family. I did my homework and they DO have connecting rooms. Just got off the phone with a wonderful CRO rep and she put in all our notes and was very patient. I should probably send a note to guest services.

And yes EE22, now we need flights. I think I have to wait until April for that.

MKY: Glad you got out those suitcases. I have a bag in my closet that I already started packing.:rotfl:

Have a great week everyone. Hoping for more warm weather like today.:flower3:

The time will fly TP2!! And you have us to pass the time with:love:

I never really unpacked anymore:rotfl: wash the shirts and throw them back in the suitcase for the next year. Why bother unpacking:confused3 I never have time anymore:rotfl: just kidding, but I do keep DH and my shirts together since I always end up bringing the same ones and he doesn't wear his Disney ones here at home. My suitcases don't really fit in our closet anyway since I bought the new sets with the new luggage rules so I don't even try...I just fill them.

I'm glad we are going in July with getting out of school later too. We were going to get out June 4th which is on the late side...now the 5th with snow. Hopefully we won't have anymore snow days.

Thunderstorms due here tomorrow. I hope it washes away the brown snow piles, but they are talking flooding:headache:

This year is the year for us. Have been planning and finally have the date but have not booked anything. Found a low fare for all 5 of us to fly. And you've answered the question my wife had about joining rooms instead of staying in the suite. But will probably stay in the suite for the small kitchen. Finally found a place where everyone is eager to go to Disney like me.

Wow 2 weeks that would be awesome :cool1: We may be there during that time period for DS's birthday - the commercial of the little kid in the classroom with the card from WDW gets me every time :goodvibes

Good luck on the airfare :wizard: We normally go in July and we've found better rates closer to our dates :wizard:

Hi Guys :goodvibes

MKY & Candi-...your trips are getting closer now !!! :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

Hope everyone had a good weekend !!:grouphug:

Can't wait just need to have a garage sale and straighten the garage then it will be start to pack for the vacation. Is it more for a joining room paying two prices or one price for it?

Two adjoining rooms at a value is $20 cheaper per night (in value season) that staying in a suite at ASMu. If we did not have the dining plan it would be worth it to stay in the suite but with the dining plan we are better off with 2 rooms.

Why does the dining plan make such a difference in the price or are you using a code to get it so cheap. But since im not doing a dining plan at this time it's just better to stay in the suite right.

Well, the dining plan is $40 per adult 10 years and older, kids 3-9 are $11. So for my family the dining plan is $142 per day. By having a suite we can eat breakfast and some heavy snacks in our room. The suite contains a microwave and small fridge. Two value rooms do not include a fridge or micro but there is a micro in the food court. Getting the dining plan for free takes away the need to eat breakfast in our room or even snacks in the room. The DP will take care of most meals and anything extra will not be a fortune to just purchase in the food court as needed. Does that help?
