Thank you all for all the kind words ....I`ll be keeping you up to date on her as I get the news !!

Tomar - DD went to school but only lasted half the day today.* It is a good thing we live close to work and the kids school is close to home and work.* I was able to bring her home on my lunch break. As for Grandma's rocking.* Some do, others not so much, so I am glad you are in the ROCKIN category along with my mom.* The only Grandma that we had that lived within driving distance, hated all of the kids in my family.* I think it was because she never liked my mom so why would she like my mom's kids.* She loved the other grandkids but not us.* So ROCK on Grandma

Hiya everyone!

Tomar, what a wonderful discription of a grandma. :) And I agree; you fit that bill.:thumbsup2 I almost totally missed out on the grandparent thing. [mky's so deprived] :rolleyes1 mom's family all in california & we met once.:confused3 Dad's father died when he was 16yr old. and his mom; I remember but died when I was in 4th grade. Not a long life gene pool there. princess: :wizard: :wizard: princess: Hope princess: princess has a great weekend! I want a tea set too.:yay:

EE22, good luck on your plumber problems. I have a plunger you can borrow.:wizard:

Candi  what a terrible week. Not enough problems at work > now DD is sick. Your right >> always a virus if they can't find a problem. :cool2: She seems young for a kidney stone? but you never know. They are caused by diet alot of the times. If your urine turns out to akaline or acidic it can cause a stone after awhile. Push fluids just in case and urologist love cranberry juice.:wizard: Happy thanksgiving. Hope things settle for the holiday.

TP2, princess: Hope your princess is doing better. Good luck with the diet. :wizard: I don't think my ding thing is working. Does your computer have to be constantly on? Or do you have to be signed in to get dings? Or will it go through when you log in / or turn on computer?

Well, looking forward to being off all weekend. It was 75 here today and sunny. Just wonderful. next year I will be at disney right now.:dance3: We have 150 days till our march trip. popcorn::

mky:cutie:

Mky-:cutie:
Thank you !! :goodvibes
I bet that any one of the kiddies that you care for at work...would "adore" having you as a .....Godmother....:cloud9: ....Im sure the love that you put into all that you do for them comes through at thier first sight of you !!
God Bless you for what you do ! ...You certainly have eased many of my uneasy thoughts with the Princess...as well as some with the Grown-ups too !!!
LOL about the tea set ...;) ...Little Belle is a cutie princess:

Tomar, ;) Think my friends and big sis did too: I have 6 god children.:rotfl: Plus: 4 of there siblings that count me as theres even thou unofficial.
I must be out of the loop. I had not seen that tea set up here.:confused3 Part of my job, centers around keeping up with toys, cartoon network, and Hannah montana.:rotfl: :rotfl: :dance3:

mky:cutie:

MKY: When you sign up for Ding make sure you scroll to the bottem of the page. There is one last step you have to do. I had DH reformat my computer 3 times thinking there was something wrong.:lmao: He was about ready to knock me out.:rotfl: You do not need to be on all day but when you sign on you will hear a Ding if there is anything available. They are not available every day and if you sign up for Chicago and Orlando, it will only show departures from those cities. Hope that clears it up, otherwise ask away.:goodvibes

Tomar: It was awful. It was definately dietary for me but it was a really stressful year and I think it had a lot to do with it too. It was a couple of months after 9/11 and I had just been through a tramatic death on top of 9/11. In addition I was nursing and babysitting. My body needed a time out.;)

Candi: Hope she is feeling better. I don't do well when the kids are sick and we have no idea what is wrong.:sad2:

Tomar - I too loved how you described being a Grandma and YEP :goodvibes you are a good one. All the good ones have a similar description. :grouphug:

MKY - my gene pools tell me to invest for retirement. Even the sickly grandparents lived to be over 80. My mom was raised in Saskatchewan and I only met her mom a few times during my life and her dad died when she was 16 - he was hit with mustard gas during the first world war and did not live very long after coming home. I like most of my mom's side of the family.

My dad's family were/are strange at best. My dad had polio (make sure your kids get the vacine) as a child (before the big outbreak) and that can change a family dynamic as I am sure you have seen at work. I only see one Uncle and Aunt and a couple of cousins.

So everyday that my kids get to spend quality time with my mom, I feel my life is richer because of what they have that I did not. I say my prayer that they will have more time with her as they grow up so they can appreciate her as an adult as well.

I don't think DD has kidney stones. The pain is not worse and I suspect it would be by now. Time will tell. She has lost the grey tone to her skin but is still really pale. We have a long weekend so hopefully she will feel better.

We are going to see Beverly Hills Chihuahua tomorrow to see if it perks her up. :rolleyes1

Good Morning Ladies !:surfweb:

MKY- You are TRUELY a "Fairy Godmother" to Many !!!! God Bless you ! :flower3: :flower3: :flower3:......I can tell ya....we certainly appreciate you around here all right !!!

TP2- Awww....I think of what you must have gone through.....and...yes...your body needed a time out for sure !!
I remember when I had the "Shingles".....OMG the pain also !:scared1:

Candi- Thank you :goodvibes ...
Im glad that DD is looking better ....Pixie dust for her to continue to improve !pixiedust: pixiedust:
EE22- Hoping all the utilites are in good working order at school !!:teacher: :cloud9:

Well...Thursday is the day for the Perfectly Princess to loose those icky tonsils....thank you all for your continued prayers and pixiedust !!

Happy Weekend everyone !!:grouphug:

Hiya everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend. :) Just playing around with airfares. Southwest still won't be out till nov. 6th.:confused3 This is driving my OCD crazy. I am a compulsive disney planner & like everything in place a year early. :lmao: I am this close to booking united and just biting the bullet. United is presently 529.00 each. Looks like SW for late feb is 300 -400, each. But you get 2 bags. But united does the resort bag check in.
I am soooooooooooooooo confused.

Does SW have curbside check in at Orlando? Could you pull up with the luggage and check it in and then return the car? Anyone try this? I hate dragging luggage from the car return.

Happy sunday! GO BEARS!!!!

mky:cutie:

Hey Mickey: I always use ME so I am not sure about curbside check in. I would hold off and wait for SW. Usually the day the fare is released, the price is a bit lower too.

MKY: Hold out for SW...you'll be glad you. From the corn, we have to wait to Feb for our flight for June/July!!

DH loves the BEARS as do many that I work with.

Great weekend here for weather, but nice fall weather is coming to an end and icky weather is due this week. They had the 4 letter word in the forecast early last week, but now it's only rain.

I've been away from the pewter lately so haven't read up, but I hope everyone is doing okay.

I know Tomar's PP goes in the hospital this week. Pixie Dust and Prayers.

Candi I hope your DD is doing better as well.

TP2, I hope your DD is doing well too. How is it going off eggs?

Today marks the 10th week of not sleeping well. I hope I do tonight. It's driving me crazy and being a walking zombie is not fun:rolleyes: I've tried just about everything I can think of and it doesn't work.

Evening everyone, :wave2:

Tomar, pixiedust: Good Luck little princess!!!princess: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Hang in there, tonight will be rough, and you will be worrying.

EE22, Ugh, the BEARS. That was a terrible ending. : :scared1: But I am sure atlanta people are happy.:upsidedow EE22, sorry about the sleep thing. Seems like alot of ladies [over 40] have the same problem. Of course, you not there yet, but menopause is a big reason. Or you need to turn off your mind. :teacher: Might be time to see your doctor, cause if that was DL11 you would be there already.

TP2, hope your daughter is feeling better. You are probably a no-egg pro by now.:wizard:

Candi, Happy Thanksgiving!!! Hope you had a great holiday.

I set up a couple of rental cars tonight, guessing times that southwest looked like it was flying.:confused3 Found a fairly good deal, and some outrageous prices. :scared1: Still waiting for my entertainment book and coupons. But ran alot of codes to get it to work. Let me know, if you need help with national. :wizard: Or coupons from book. I even set up one, to get car at mco, and return to dolphin going 2 last days without car. Then return in cab or ME. Can you take ME one way?

What will you be celebrating???????????????????

mky:cutie: >>>>>GOING DOWN TO 4 MONTHS!!!!!<<<<<<<

Any of you ladies interested or thinking about the "owners locker"? Sounds like a great idea for repeat visitors. There is an add on allearsnet.com main page, giving 50.00 off of a 75.00 locker. Good deal to start with and try it out. I just signed up. ;)

mky:cutie:

Tomar pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for the princess: on Thursday.* I am sure everyone will be waiting for word she is okay.

MKY - I looked at the owners lockers and they look pretty cool, but not sure if it would work for me.* I will be interested in what your thought are.
Turkey was wonderful.....no wonder they have such a strong spirit in the native culture.* One bird fed 15 today and will feed some more of us tommorrow for left overs.* Pretty incredible when you think about it.
DD10 is on the mend.*:goodvibes Not quiet herself yet but I think she is on the way.* She still has some pain in her chest but I think it might be muscular from playing on the monkey bars before she got sick. :rolleyes1
Yes you can take the Magic Express one way without any trouble.* Does your coupon book offer Thrifty or Avis codes?* I found a mini van (need it for the luggage issue) for about $72 per day after taxes and such for March.
As for celebrating...Anniversary in March near our cruise.* We will be married 19 years on March 3 2009.* We were engaged on October 17th 1989 the same day the Earthquake hit San Fransico.
EE22 - I have trouble sleeping at times too but 10 weeks is really far too long and I agree with MKY - it is time to talk to the doctor. I have a TV in my room for nights I can't turn my brain off. You end up falling asleep during the comercials and I find that helps at times. Have you tried the teas and lavender sented creams and such. Johnson and Johnson makes a soothing lotion that has a great sent and is can help at the times you need just a little something to relax you. Good luck.

:surfweb:

MKY: With baggage charges and how often you visit...it's probably worth it for you. You're on your way to being a resident!! ;) I think Tomar toyed with the idea for a bit.

I'm gonna try melatonin tonight and see what happens.

I do not sleep as sound as I once did and DH is waking me up. He snores and he's an annoying sleeper that's all I know. I fall alseep fine, but like clock work at 11:00 ish about 45 minutes after lights out...I'm wide awake. It started when school started, but we go to bed earlier on Sundays now though that the kids are back in school. I'll be 44 so you never know. My friend had the same issue. I sleep find the rest of the week but it's because I've lost 5-6 hours. Last week I only lost about an hour, but then I was awake Monday night:rolleyes: I have found if I go to the dark basement I can sleep, but the couch doesn't do much for a sound sleep that's all I know.

Falling asleep isn't an issue...it's staying that way.

Hi Everyone !!:goodvibes

AWWWW:angel:  ....YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST !!!!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND PIXIEDUST FOR THE PRINCESS ON THURSDAY !!! :grouphug:
I spoke to her for a long time this morning....she was making me a cup of tea ....:rotfl: ......I said "May I have some Lemmon....she said...Okay Gam-ma....I make you one with Lemmonprincess: .....she said she is going to see the doctor on thursday so he can fix her throat.... ...awwww...my heart is very heavy guys....:sad1: ....I know she`ll be fine...but Im a worry wart:sad2:

EE22- I wish you a good nights rest !!! you need it !!:flower3:

MKY- I discussed the owners locker with Mr. Tomar a while back when it first came into the picture...and we passed on it as we only go to the world once a year....if and when the time comes that we can go more than once...I feel it may be a better time to use the service...but if you do...please let us know how everything went !! :goodvibes
I don`t know anything about SW mky- but it looks like everyone wants you to wait for them to come up with a great fare :woohoo:

Candi- So happy that DD is doing better !...and Happy Thanksgiving to you !
Tomorrow is our Columbus day...We celebrate when Columbus discovered America !! :flower1:

TP2- Hope your DD4 is getting better as well !!!:cloud9:
Today felt more like a Saturay than
Sunday.... because tomorrow is a holiday here !;)

I will keep you guys posted on the locker thing. Sis wants to buy a cheap toaster for the room, and would store that. Then all the bottles we throw out > shampoo, hair gels, an extra dryer, ......... plastic hangers,,,,,, Could be a large list. Our year will start in march with 1st use and good for a year. Should be worth it, for 1 year to try out. I plan to double bag everything in it > just in case.;)

Candi, I am pretty sure that avis will have coupons > which I don't use, so they will be yours.:thumbsup2 Not sure about thrifty but will check when I get the book.:wizard: That will be a great celebration! Congrat's!!:wizard:

Tomar, Happy Colombus day! :cheer2:

EE22, good luck tonight!:dance3:

I need to go to bed too. :rotfl: 5am is way toooooooooooo early. I like to put on a movie I have seen alot of times, and then fall asleep. > But I tend to wake about 3 to 4am and fall asleep again about 4:55am before my clock goes off.:confused3 But having migraines > don't force yourself to sleep cause it will cause a headache.

mky:cutie:

Did you know that Columbus Day use to be the day that the US celebrated Thanksgiving along with us? It was changed a lot time ago by the legislature.

Do they schools teach a newer version of Columbus's trip or do they still teach the story we were taught in school? Did you know the Vikings landed here (being the East coast of Canada and the US) and settled hundreds of years before columbus sailed? Pretty interesting.

Happy Columbus Day

Oh yeah, we got the usual line. They down play the vikings, although they where supposedly up in minnesota? How they got over there:confused3 We where taught thanksgiving day > was the day of the harvest, with the native indians & pilgrims sharing. Jamestown [virginia] was settled way before pilgrims too. As was some of florida? I think back then they didn't all firgure out they where in the same areas / country?:confused3

mky:thumbsup2
