It's our first time staying on points since we bought into DVC last summer. We have stayed at AKL several times, but not in style We are going to be in a 1 bedroom.

Can't wait!!!

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm really, really buried between work, home and track. We finally had out first outdoor meets on Friday and Saturday and the weather was nice. Two were off due to 30 degree temps. Normally we would have been on #4 by now. Yucky weather. We had a snow storm last Thursday night which was a bummer. I hope the weather holds out for this Friday. Grandpa and Grandma are coming to visit and watch them throw.

I've been reading off and on....good luck with the car hunt mky I was at the bank a few weeks back and there was a Bug painted just like Herby it was so cute. I thought I was dreaming when I saw it. I also saw one of the new bugs painted a beautiful PINK one year at a track meet. It also is my dream to own one.

EE22 - I hear once you have a one bedroom you will never go back to studios.

I am WAY to cheap with my points to stay in a one bedroom and would rather have two studios for 8 people. But part of that is the fact I would never use a full kitchen. The kitchenette is all I really need. But I do hear they are wonderful rooms.

I dream of doing a trip in the grand villa - but every time I look at the point chart my palms get sweaty and I have to find a paper bag.

Keep in mind I rent points if you ever need a few extra for anything.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. It was truely beauitful here today 70! finally

Candi, yes Vader is Lord Anakin Darth Vader > or our 17 month old German Shepherd puppy. I know not really puppy looking but very puppy acting.

EE22, You will love the 1 bedroom. Between the washer / dryer (less luggage) or whirlpool tub. (candi, i don't go into the kitchen / well maybe for a coke). You might still need a roll away with your 2 big teens. The master has a king bed, and the living room has a queen sleep sofa. We have had them twice now, first at BWV and I really think that set up was larger (unless they have changed it again) and then last year at Saratoga. Do yourself a favor > hit DTD and the Basin Store. They have "mickey balls" which are a bath salt, mostrizer with floating hidden mickeys, in the ball. I could barely get out. Nice pictures you sent. I guessed your daughter, and your son ? in black shirt? I thought the other guy was date? and then of course dad.

Well no news on car front. I will hang in there.

There is a King, sleeper sofa and a chair sleeper thingy. DD is very excited about that. The rooms in new lodge...old age...can't remember the name right now...has two baths. That might come in handy too with DD the Bathroom Queen.

I will be at AKV in July but only a studio for me.

I just found out my friends are going to Disney the same time we are in January (our almost free trip). My friend has not been since 1980 when she was ten and her kids have never been so we are going to try and stay together at AKV if I can get us rooms at the seven month window. I don't have enough points left for the 11 month window.



Her DS12 like coasters but the rest of the family does not so he will want to hang with us.

It will be fun.

Goofy22, thanks for the heads up. But, I am thrilled that we are missing it this year. It doesn't work out well for us. Just 2 people staying CR / poly. And we have been the last 2 years during the period. It was way crowded and crazier than before during that period......But actually one of the reasons we choose to go a little earlier.

Sounds like AKV will be a big hit. Might be hard tix to get.

MKY - I agree that the free dining would be a big plus for the budget - the extra crowds would drive me crazy.

Hey - I joined TGMs last night. I have not had much of a chance to poke around on the site yet, but hopefully I will get a lot of use out of it.

It was in the 70s here today and just a wonderful day. To bad I spent so much time at work today but I did enjoy what I got to see.

About AKV...
WE are going to also need a 1 bedroom or larger when the Perfectly Princess comes with us sometime soon !!
AKV sounds wonderful in that the one bedroom sleeps 5...that`s a BIG plus ! I saw the room model pictures and it sure looks lovely !!

Spring had definately "Sprung" here in New Jersey..all the trees and shrubs are blooming very nicely !!
Hope everyone is busy planning for thier upcoming trips....
