HELLO everyone !!!:goodvibes
First.. let me say that I hope everyone had a joyous Easter !
The Kids left yesterday.....and ...all I can say is......Mr. Tomar and I had the BEST Easter time with the Perfectly Princess princess: :cheer2: :cheer2:
She loved loved loved her new Crocs :goodvibes ...and all the Easter Baskets and gifts she recieved from everyone !
She is the Joy in my heart !!
I felt sad though.. when the week was finally over and we took them to the airport yesterday morning .....I got the biggest hug:hug: and Kiss and she said...Bye Bye Gam-ma !!!...I cryed all the way home !!:sad1: ;)
She talks up a storm now....One night we baby-sitted her (her mommy and daddy went out to Dinner with friends).. and we watched "Enchanted"....she was in awe of the movie...I got such a kick out of her watching it....imagine when I see her react in the "world " for the first time ...OMG !!! :cloud9:
Im trying to catch up to all that I missed with you guys...so forgive me if I don`t make too many remarks.....it`s taking me a while !! LOL ;)
more later !!

Tomar - I am so glad your visit went so well. I can just imagine her first trip to the world. DD was 5 the first trip and it was the most magical age to take her. It will be a wonderful time when you get to go with her.

EE22 - yes the trip still had it good moments....like getting vouchers toward another flight...we are going to go back in January since we bought annual passes.

MKY - I did not answer your question about spaceship Earth - it was wonderful. They did a great job and I ended up riding it three times with different since we were not all at the park together the first time. The other new item on the "great" list was the movie in Canada at Epcot. Martin Short did a great job.

Who is the next one to head to WDW in the group?

Hiya everyone:tongue: :yay:

Tomar, Big hug:hug: you must be missing your princess: & (and her parents).;) So happy you had a great visit.:cheer2:

Candi, I am so excited now to see space ship earth. :woohoo: We have adr's for garden grille too. It is very quiet and relaxing :woohoo: for a character meal. We had a bad experience at Corral reef, but max wants to see the fishes, so we are hoping for a better experience. The food was good, but was a 3+ hour experience with terrible service (dropped pop glasses all over table to start and just got worse from there).

EE22, Its snowing here right now, but they are saying 50's this weekend, I am holding on to that thought. Let's think spring.

TP2, Hope the girls are having a nice holiday.

Mom2ike, happy planning, sounds like your excited.:wizard:

Not sure who is going next? Guess we are all on hold till July? Unless mouseaddict's shows up again and is going soon?:confused3

Have a great thursday, mky:cutie:

I have been spending a ton of time on my photo pass pictures. The file is getting so big, it is starting to really slow down the process.

There is a ton of snow heading our way from the Chicago area, so a group of us might get a lot of snow today.

Hey all my friends from the June, July, August code watch thread. :wave2: Just wanted to start a new place for us to come and discuss our planning. We will put all of the code !#!* behind us and think happy Disney thoughts. :yay:

We're going August 9th to the 16th. Staying at AS Music. Been planning this trip since our return from last years Easter Break trip. This time we're taking someone who has never been...can't wait to see his face when he enters MK for the 1st time. All ADR's are made including a couple of trips to the BBB to have the little one dolled up as Hanna Montana and Cinderella. Also doing the water parks this trip. It's going to be a wonderful week in Disney.

Hey y'all .......... wow, Candi's back already ........ (sigh) the past 3 weeks have been a total BLUR for me ...... crazy stuff - fill everyone in later - just thought I'd drop by to say "HEY" and let y'all know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth!

It's late now, so I'm going to try to swing by tomorrow & over the wknd to play catch up & read about Candi's trip .......

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and is in good health!!!
:grouphug:

Hiya everyone!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. :) Busy here, gloomy, raining, and 50's. We have been busy car shopping. I love a new car, but really hate the process. I always hated playing chess too.;) Looking for a new beetle.:lovestruc Always wanted one. After renting it (year before last) just totally feel in love. I am very short :confused3 and cannot reach my suv's window's to scrape. Really need a smaller car.

TP2, great shower pictures, had some trouble with aol loading them, but finally did ok. Your girls are precious. Great smiles on everyone.

Tomar, what a princess. Beautiful eyes. Just like grandma.:yay: Looks like Easter was a hit!

EE22, the chicago cubs keep running a commercial based on the "field of dreams" > everytime I see it, I think of you guys. Hope we are done with the rain soon.

Candi, :yay: Good news I am buying a car, sorry but don't think it is coming out of detroit.

Mouseaddict's welcome back, So when do you go next? I am sure it has to be you. Are you going to hilton head, or are you just back?

Happy planning, mky:cutie:

Tommorrow is April fool day

Hi All...I'm alive...getting down there in days.
I'm buried...track season is a killer.

Funny about the Field of Dreams :goodvibes it's not too far from here!
Hope everyone is well!!

HATE APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!! teacher's worst nightmare

Hiya everyone!

Happy april fools day!

What a crazy day at work. I didn't know who to believe. Kids at work really get into it. EE22 I could not image being a teacher, today.

YES, We are getting down. June is 2 months away. YEAH summer is coming.

mky:cutie:

One got me good...told me she was dropping out of school and getting a job. She's a junior. I about fell off my chair. Not cool....

Hi everyone!

MKY - congratulation on deciding to buy a new car. We don't have any products on the bug but it sure is a cute car. :cloud9: Do they assemble them in the US now? I thought they were going to. You can check on the inside of the drivers door, it should tell you where and when it was built.

The American Axle strike is still kicking the daylights out of us. We will be closed for another day on Friday because of it.:scared1:

I can imagine what April Fools day might be like, but the ONLY joke around here was DD9 telling me we had another hawk outside the window. I do mean that was the only joke! I guess we Canadian are pretty boring that way.

Mouseaddicts - when are you going back to Disney?

We are going again in July and have room in our room for one more person since DH can't get time off work. Can you believe I am having trouble finding someone to come with me? They don't even have to pay for the room and so it won't cost much to stay at Animal Kingdom Villas...and I am getting answers like...it is too hot, I can't afford it...I am going to be away at that time.....I am getting disappointed.

I fear I will be very lonely if I don't take another adult with me.:scared:

Hope everyone is well.

Hi guys !! :goodvibes

Well it`s finally April !!!.....The trees here in New Jersey are budding and the grass is turning very green !! :yay:
This means the summer is right around the corner ...and so are alot of our trips !!! YAHOOOOOOO ! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

MKY- Happy Car hunting !!! I always thought that the beetle was soooo cute:cutie: ....hope you find one you like ! Max must be starting to get alittle excited now too !! :goodvibes

TP2- Still thinking of how yummy that cake looked !! :cloud9:

EE22- I pray that Spring hits the "Field of Dreams" sometime this month ... You deserve to have the best one EVER:flower3: !!

candi- Good luck recruiting someone for july...:)

mouseaddicts- hope everyone is feeling well ! :goodvibes

Hi Everyone! :wave2: My youngest DS (age 14) and I will be there 6-9 to 6-18 at PC. Oldest DS is 32, married with children of his own. I say I raised 2 only children! This is youngest DS's and mine's longest trip ever. That's why I booked at a value Resort. I didn't want to be up a creek without a paddle if a code didn't come thru!
I only started going to WDW in June of 2000 and this will make my 10th trip! At work, I have become the one everyone goes to if they're planning a WDW trip! :teeth: I blame several co-workers for this year's trip. I had orginally thought of going to Myrtle Beach. After helping the co-worker's with their plans I couldn't stand it any longer and decided to go too! ;)
DS still thinks we're going to MB. I am not going to tell him the truth until we get to the airport! Boy, is he going to be surprised!!!
Great thread! Since I have to keep quiet at home about our trip, it's nice I can share the excitement with everyone here! :goodvibes

TC :cool1:

I would like to go to Myrtle Beach next summer to visit the all new Hard Rock Park. It's a extreme ride park. It is set to open this spring.

Hiya everyone,

Hope your all getting ready for the weekend. Spent my day off today, car haggling. :teacher:  :scared1: Just wrote 10 lines and erased. About my flustrating day. :scared1: Trade in issues. I am going to (for 1 week) attempt to sell my car and see if I get a better offer. If not, will just stay put.

Oh, to be laying beside the pool @ wdw. How many days do we have? Is it warm out yet?

Happy friday, mky:cutie:

MKY - I feel for you. Buying a new car off a car lot is probably one of the most stressful things to do.

I usually buy a used car (2 years old works well for me) but 2 years ago I looked for new cars because I was not even sure what I wanted to buy. I have to buy something made here or I face the rath at work...:scared1: It can be foreign but has to be assembled in North America.

The guy wanted to give me $5000 for my car and I am looking at the same make and year as mine out the window on the used car lot for $12000 and mine had less miles and more options. I understand making a profit but it was nuts! They even classed my car as "excellent" condition. I got $9000 for it myself.

Stick to your guns - get the best deal on the new car because they won't move much on the trade in. Consider if the take the trade in value before the calculate all the taxes due. That is how it works here.

Price your car less than you see others advertised for in the paper and it will sell a lot quicker. Plus make sure it is completly clean and the smells nice - that will help.

Good luck! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks Candi,:wizard: :surfweb:

That is exactly the situation. Blue book is 8500>12000 based on condition. Mine is also excellent. They are offering 7000. :headache: This is so much of a hassel. I think I will have trouble selling it, with the economy or being classed as an suv for gas. I can't even put a sign in it, cause of the tinted windows. :confused3 At least the warranty is still good till September, and Hmmmm, the 09' VW beetle comes out about then. Might just leave things go and if it sells it does.:confused3 p.s. vw window says assembled in us, mexico, and germany. (different parts and assembled here somewhere). But you probably know that.

You guys must all be below 100 days? Come on, I know I am not the only one with a calendar marked with the days left. And yes, it is a disney one.:wizard:

mky:cutie:

solution: autotrader.com We sold our last 2 vehicles within 1-2 weeks of listing it there. The car lots rape you on your trade in value. Never ever trade in a car....:sad2:

best of luck to you....:)

Hey MKY

The last car I tried to sell that still had a warranty on it did not sell any faster or for any more money. I found used car buyers did not understand how a manufacturer's warranty worked or the benefit.

I think you are right to keep the car until the warranty runs out. That way you will maximize the value you get out of it.

Plus, if you buy a car now, you will already own a one year old car in a few months and they never give you the discount you should get on an older model.

Thanks Candi,

Your right. :teacher: I will just see what happens. :tiptoe: :car: :car: :charac2: Congrat's on the countdown!:woohoo:

Wow, it is really beauitful here today. Sunny and high 60's. The grass is actually thinking about turning green. :darth: Vader, is running arounds and not yet all muddy. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. :dance3:

mky!:cutie:
