Forgot to mention...the make a T-shirt at DTD has lots of different characters for shirts. DL11 made one. It takes 2 hours to make them though so allow that time if you're interested.

EE22 Is the t-rex place, identical to rainforest with dino's? Or different cuisine? I thought they would be similiar?
We love Colombia Harbor house, even Bug, likes there tuna. And she puts the pick in picky.
I told bug about TTA, and she is wondering: is it cause of not being able to go through space mt. and touching it up or making it over like they did in DL > almost a completely different ride?
Is the t-shirt place the same one by the sports place and guest services, or something new? Or maybe they added alot to it now?

Can you tell, i am bored.

407-828-8739 is their number for ressies...different then dining.

I thought it was good and from what I remember it is different from RF. The chicken was yummo city. The menus are both up on allears I believe.

TTA: what I read was because it goes through SM. You know the old sky "thingy" with the building by SM where there are bathrooms? They are building something next to that. No idea what.

Maybe when the workers are not in there with their undies hanging out of their jeans, they will let the TTA go through SM. No clue.

T-shirt place is new and is where the scrap booking stuff was in the same store as the Art of Disney down across from the Christmas shop. There are I think 8-10 stations to make the shirts so you have to stand in line for that and then the 2 hours you have to come back for the shirt. I would assume it gets busy later in the evening.

Goofy's Candy Kitchen was the bomb! I know bug cannot eat a lot of sugar though. Earl of Sandwich is yummo too...forgot about them, but they were BUSY at Christmas. VERY BUSY!!! it was mid afternoon too.

We have never eaten at Earl of Sandwich. Bug, doesn't like "the werid stuff"
spices and sauces they list on the sandwiches. I do miss the little upscale deli that used to be there.

I did like the candy kitchen too. It is sooooooooo cute. And they carry things beside chocholate.

OOo excited a new t-shirt place. That can be fun. Hope they carry simba. Can't find anything with him on it.

I liked some of the rainforest stuff, but I think it is kinda spicy [hot]. I know, no one else would. But, I don't care for that. We will definately try to get ressies.

It's still snowing. At least I don't feel, like I wasted my weekend off. Could not be out driving with this now, anyway.

I just bought another set of mbt's a few weeks ago. My foot started aching, and not sure why the shoes wheren't working > so thought maybe they lost there bounce. They did. The new ones cleared it right up again. That company owes us some money. You sent me there and I have sent half the ortho patients in our county.

Hope it stopped snowing there, or you might not be in school on monday.

mky...DL11 is pretty sure they had Simba. They had Figment which is hard to find and many other not common characters. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure.

I don't like spicey either. DH had the chicken which he said was good...DL11 had ribs, DS had a steak. You might not like the spice on the chicken sandwich I had, but without it...it would still be good. It's made with pizza dough bread...but hold the spice for you I'd say.

MBTs were good for me again, but I only wear them there. My danskos do well for me at work. I suppose they will wear out...hate to think about that. Wore my tennis shoes this time too at the World since I wore jeans.

I hope we don't have another snow day. That would be very bad!! especially the week of finals not pretty!

MKY- ...Ditto for Mr. Tomar and Columbia Harbor House.....He ADORES the Tuna Sandwich !!....I think the name of the sandwich is ..."Anchors Away"..LOL
What we do is ...order and get our sandwiches and take them Upstairs....and
Eat and watch the comeings and goings at the Haunted Mansion...(great view up there ) !

Hi everyone

Well it was a good trip all in all. We did have two days where DD13 and I were down with a stomach virus. I have not seen DD13 so sick in such a long time. The mess in the hotel room was horrible. It took us a couple of days to get back to full speed but it was early in the trip so we managed okay.

The parks were very crowded until January 5th, then it was quieter until the marathon runners started to arrive on Friday.

We had great weather for most of the week. It was warmer than normal and it was 80s for about 5 days straight. It was very nice to get away from the cold and snow.

I too watched the same time period in General Hospitals history when I was in high school. I stopped watching in college when I started to tape the shows and then found I would fast forward throught most of it....too much waisted time for me at that point.

I hope the kids are feeling better EE22 and MKY - I hope you feel better too.

Once I register our photo passes, I will send the link to any of you who might like to see the pictures. We did get in to see the fairies and that was pretty cool.

so sorry that you and your DD13 came down with a stomach virus ...not fun at all , but at least it went away fast enough for you guys to enjoy the rest of your trip !
Id love to see your photopass pics ... .....Glad that you had good weather....the rest of us are all still braveing the Winter at this point ....it`s nice to get a break from winter gear once in a while and enjoy the Florida sun, that`s for sure !!

They are very cool for large familys that is for sure....when we stood there though....I just felt like I was off the beaten path a bit...but now with SSR right there ...I image they will become very popular....and....."Populated" !!

Was supposed to work today, and got cancelled / on call. So still taking it easy. Finally feeling better, not perfect, but getting there.

Welcome Home Candi. So sorry you got hit by the bug. It must be so contagious, a lot of people got it. I would love to see pictures, expecially some of the tree houses if you have any.

MKY: Sorry you got cancelled. Good you are taking it easy for another day. Probably better in the long run. DD4 is still holding out. I am hoping the vaccine worked on her. She is within the window so we are keeping our fingers crossed. Everyone else who was at the party on Christmas Eve came down with the pox last week. We got calls all day every day. In the end, I think it hit 7 people. Everyone else already had it.

Oh, and I am far from lonely. My kids went to school but I am back to babysitting today. Thank goodness, I need my Disney funds!

EE22: Hope finals are going well.

Tomar: Do you have the ice? Our Christmas lights are falling off the house but all frozen together. I don't want to ruin the roof so we just have them hanging. Looks awful but I don't want to take any chances. It will melt eventually.
