The answer is "yes"!!! My trip was already booked for Aug 2 to Aug 10. I switched resorts to BC and was able to get the AP rate for the whole trip. The CM I spoke with said that your check-in date just has to be between July 5 and Aug 5. I hope this helps you out --- it sure made my day!!!!! :woohoo:

Thanks! That's awesome News! :thumbsup2

Rats, I was really hoping for the June AP discounts. I just checked my dates on the website for my travel dates of 06/20 thru 06/25 and there was very little availability. Nothing was avaiable at CONT, Poly, YC or BWI at any level.
AK, WL and BC had rooms. I guess I will just keep my reservation at the Poly for a standard view room. I would never pay $400 a night for a room anywhere else but at Disney and to be on the monorail I will. This is my DD age 12 trip and it is where she wants to stay so on the monorail we stay. I didn't even check availability at the GF because I don't want to afford it. To all the other DISers who will be there in June, lets all have a magical vacation and stop worrying about the stupid codes because it appears we were passed by.
Here's to having a wonderful vacation. :woohoo:

We were able to move our reservation from POR to BW for only $38 more per night! We are very excited!!!!!

I would go ahead and book now with the AAA discount and get at least the 15% off. You don't need to join BEFORE you book, just have the card with you at check in. IF another code comes out that works better for you, you would probably be able to change it over. You can book with Disney for a room only rate, but if you want the package, then you'll have to book with AAA. Good luck!!! :goodvibes

If your going after yhe 13th of August there's free dining. I think for a family of 5 you will save more that way than with AAA

Will this thread continue for people looking for the rest of August or will a new one start? Sorry I'm new here :)

I'm with Ziggy - will the thread continue? Or maybe it's pointless because of the free dining starting Aug 13th? Anyone thinking there won't be an AP code because of the free dining then? I only have 2 nights booked at Poly with a AAA rate before moving to our DVC. I may keep watch, but if nothing comes along I may move to Swan with teachers' rate, not renew my AP (up Aug 11), and spend the savings on some dining. Who knows -any opinions out there? :confused3

Hi Kris! :wave2:

AP is Annual Pass.

I hope it works out for you for August. We're going June 29-July 5, and missed out on AP rates and free dining. :sad1:

I would say keep it going as there isn't just an August one at the moment.

I'd check prices at the Swan if that seems like an option to you.

If they are offering limits rooms for July, you'd have to believe that August will be more booked, but who knows since school starts then.

Keep the thread going. We have Free dining for 10 days in Aug but I also have room only at GF with room only. I hope to get a code as AAA rate is too high.

We wil also be at th Polynesian 8/18 & 19 but after our DVC stay! AAA rate for us as well. We currently have LV booked but I may cahnge it to GV as the two LV longhouses I would request, will be under rehab.

I was thrilled to get BWI with the AP rate, but we had really wanted to stay at the villas and there was no AP rate available.

Thanks to a really helpful cm, we're now staying at the villas!:)

Oddly enough, when you factor in a AAA discount for a studio villa and what it would have cost us for 1 AP to get the AP rate, it actually cost us $20 a night less to stay in a studio villa!

With that knowledge in hand, we upgraded to a 1 br!! So, with a AAA rate we're staying in a 1 br villa for just under $80 a night more than the AP rate for a standard view room!:cool1:

And to think, I waited for months for the AP rates to come out!

I'm actually thinking of changing to a one bedroom at the Beach Club Villas as it's a bit less than us staying on the concierge floor at the Yacht Club. I don't use the service up there other than the convience of my kids being able to grab something to snack on and for me to get my morning coffee and it would actually be easier in the Villa, I wouldn't have to get out of my pjs!

I'm still hoping that the release Fl resident rates for June, guess hope is a good thing.

No problem-o! :cool1: BTW, look forward to trying out OKW in the future, rooms look airy & huge.

They are. I love OKW. We did our first week there last year and then moved to a 1BR at BCV for our second week. I opened the door, did a double take, and then turned to my wife and said welcome to Walt Disney's newest attraction - Honey I Shrunk The Villa. :rotfl:

But after we got over the initial shock - we loved BCV too (and Stormalong Bay!!!)

So we are doing the same thing again this year. But nothing beats a 1 BR at OKW in my book. :thumbsup2

Well we changed our resort. We couldn't see spending $702. for 2 nights in a gardenview at the Poly when for $9 more can stay at the BC on the concierge level. Stormalong Bay here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!
