Can someone explain the DDE - how it works and who can get it?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
DDE is the Disney Dining Experience .. it is a membership that you can get if you are either a FL resident or AP holder. You will get a card with your name on it that will entitle you to 20% off food & alcohol at certian places throughout the Disney Resort area. You are invited to special dinners & seminars given by different chef's. Here is a link you can use to read up on it:disneywithfive said:Can someone explain the DDE - how it works and who can get it?

The terms of use indicate it's required and I guess for me I'd be too embarrassed to take the chance, but that's me! Just wanted to put it out there in case some didn't know it's an actual requirement whether enforced or not.

This weather is very weird for us. We are usually HOT like FL by early June and never see fresh air due to our air. Very weird. Last summer we had on our air from about mid May till the end of September.Jesussavedme said:I'll trade you my![]()
for your cold and rainy!!!!
I love cold and rainy and
I am sick of the constant stifling heat, and I'm sure there's another 5 months of it to come.![]()
I guess the grass is always greener....![]()
Tess said:Like most others, I am very surprised at the lack of AP/FL res rates for June. We've been traveling at the same time of year since the early 90s (with occasional stops in other months) and we have only been "shut out" on one occasion. Even on that one occasion, there were AP rates. We were simply not able to obtain one for our resort/room category.![]()
If there are no AP rates, it surely means the parks will be packed in June! Thank goodness for experience in touring and knowing the ins and outs of handling the crowds!
I won't give up completely until I'm on the plane. . .then again, with a trip planned for 6/8--a release after 6/3 would be cutting it very close indeed! If I had known about the April-early June AP release, I would have simply scheduled our trip to begin on 6/1! By the time those rates were released we had already booked airfare. . . Live and learn I guess--at least we got a good deal on airfare!![]()
I also have stifling heat and humidity, I'd like to trade for some cool and useful wet.EEyorelover22 said:Morning!
