I know. It's depressing.

I did do research on my DDE card though last night and I don't have to have an annual pass to use it...just order it. That helps a bit. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

This is what I think as well, but I keep a bit of hope alive just because some have been released only days before they started especially in Jan of this year. It's not over till it's over!

Well we are going aug. 2 > 19th So hopefully aug will get something. I hope everyone gets something thou. Even thou I am doubtful at this point. I never got to do BRP, but even with its problems, I liked the idea, and wanted to try it. This is getting "old" and ridiculous.

When are you going to wdw? Any special plans for your trip? Are you trying a new resort or old fav.?

Yes, its been 40's here too. It was 39 the other morning, and they where talking about snow flurry's???? In may????? Oh, I think we all need to move to florida.

We are going the end of June and staying at AKL. I can hope for a free upgrade and then I'll feel like I had an ap rate Last year we did and if the rooms are that booked, I can hope I just hope we don't get moved to some other hotel. Either way, we love AKL and I can't wait to be sitting by the pool with my refillable mug and my pretzel bread chicken sandwich!!

I keep coming back to Disney making a bad move not to keep in mind the loyal ap holders and FL residents for when the econmy turns bad. They are the ones that will continue to visit the parks because of their love of Disney. Or high airfares and gas prices causing a decline in visitors. I'm not one of these, mind you, as I only buy my ap for the hotel discount and that's why I may not renew unless we go back in December. Speaking of December, I hope the people in December don't hold out much hope for a discount!! And, in the long run, people will move off site in the future and from what I gather from the off site thread many love it!

I have a question....it's 7:14am and no one has posted a "yes" or "no" to the infamous "Are there AP rates for after June 3rd" question.

Good Morning and Happy Mother's Day

Here it has been raining since Monday afternoon, with no end in sight!!!! I teach Pre-K and not being able to get outside is a killer

We are going 7/23-7/31 and 8/16-8/20 so we are still hoping for a code!!!

But if not we are on the plane any way!!!!

Still hoping for June for all you who are going then!!

I agree. But I still needed the ap for the tix, with our 2 trips this year. (yeah). The discounts do help with the price, and without them, I will have to change our trip in October. Regular season at the poly is nuts (value is bad enough / rack rate). We have not tried the akl, (yet) I don't care for the location? Seems a little out of the way, but could be a good thing. But we have visited and liked the resort.

The location of AKL doesn't bother us at all. The bus service is great. It never seems that long on the bus either. I've always been pleased. It feels like we are in a different world when we are there. We loved our room last year and actually all the times we have been there the rooms have been great. We've been there 3 times now. I do hope we can go at Christmas this year. That would be great. I guess the only thing about this trip is that I did save $800 over our plane tickets for all the years before due to Allegiant coming here so all in all, the trip will cost us about the same. I just wish they would release flights for December so I could make my decision about tickets because then I would need ap for all of us and it would save us about $250. We are staying poolview only because I don't want a standard room by the bus stop walkway. I'm glad I didn't book that because with the resort full, I'm sure someone will be in that room.

Hello from Disney World!!!

Just peeking in to see if any AP rates for August were released. LOL I happened to see this post and just wanted to say that we're at the Animal Kingdom Lodge right now and LOVE it! The bus rides seem very quick; this resort does not share with any other resorts. We're huge Polynesian resort fans, and it's still our #1 resort, but AKL is now in the #2 spot!

I hope that is right because mine expires before we go(the DDE expires the end of June and my AP expires July2- we'll be at the world June30-july9) so I hope that is right. Last year I don't recall anyone asking for my AP when we dined.- some did ask for ID to prove who I was- like a resort card ect...But I don't remember ever having to show an AP.
