and got a really nice CM. He said that they hadn't been released yet and in his experience that it would possibly be the first week of May. But, although he said to wait till next week, it would be my luck to wait and miss the whole thing I guess I'll just keep watching the boards. My 21st wedding anniversary is tomorrow and I was hoping for an extra special treat (i.e. they'd release the discounts), but there's no romance left in the ressie department Guess we'll have to keep waiting. Just got off the phone with Grand Gatherings CM, asked her about the AAA discounts and she told me to hold out for the AP codes, should be coming out soon. She said this season right now is booked heavier than the summer season and they released codes for them so she said that it is a good bet that we will get AP codes for our time frame also. Hope she is right. Enjoy this sight and reading about everyones disney trips.

I had a strange thought...I have them often

Maybe May 1st will be the day. I would bet they need extra CMs when the tickets for the Halloween and Christmas parties come out so why not release the codes at the same time.

Anyone know when the tickets went on sale last year...the date?

I can't be at a computer until about 1:00 most days. Do these codes go really fast? Like if I don't call until 1:00 do I pretty much have no chance? Any insight would be appreciated!

I feel very confident the AP rates will be here before or on May 5th( May 1st I feel). Not much longer you guys..Don't freak out and think the worst yet. Especially if your months of travel are July through the end of summer because according to Mousesavers historical data ----

2004- the AP codes came out May 5th
2005- AP codes came out May 4th

Those were for travel dates of 7/5/04- 8/28/04

I still have high hopes for you June Disney goers too!
(Just to show you how close they cut it before Ap are given) If this helps:

2004- Ap codes came out 8/5/04 for travel 8/29/04 - 9/29/04
thats only 24 days before the trip, if of course your were going to be there on 8/29 --so my point--anything can happen--

and I think it will--so there!!

Well, I have the AAA discount for my time period (6-9 to 6-18) at PC. Boy am I glad I booked a value resort now! If an AP rate comes out for that time, do you think there will be a code for the general public also? I can remember in the summer of 2001 getting ASMu for $49 a night. Those were the days!

I don't see why not! Honestly every year I get general public room only codes . I didn't go last year, but every year before. They seem to give you less time ( before travel dates) for the room only codes, than Ap codes. I think they wait to see if rack rates are going to fill up in a certain amount of time, then AP go out, then if rooms still aren't filled to capacity (or just alot of cxed ressies), they put out public room only codes. Just my thought!

I agree although it's hard to keep up with the waiting.
Sometimes it's only 7-8 days before the start of the code.

Good positive thoughts! Fingers crossed and in position. I'm dressed for work an hour early (just in case we are all on the phone ) I wish!

All major sites: No changes. But wdw passholder = system error? Even after re-booting? Could be a good sign > or of course that terrible system is down again.

Gosh, I hope this ends soon. And we get to write something like "call now" wouldn't that be great!

I know it's early but...

I didn't call, but no updates on any sites (mousesavers, intercot, wdwinfo, disneyworld.com AP site. I have to leave for work in a few minutes and will be away from my computer until almost 4:00! *GASP*

After all the talk about codes not being released until weeks or days before the beginning date, I'm wondering if I should cancel my "safe" ressies (split stay at POR:RS and AKL at the AAA rate) and go ahead and book the out-of-our-range re$$ies at either AAA rate (if they're available) or rack rate just so we have a room to apply the code to?

Anyone else feeling like this is a second (or third!) job? BUT...it will all pay off if those codes come out and I have the feeling of saving hundreds of $ on a magical vacation!

I also called and NOTHING. We chatted for a minute and I said how do you know if you don't check the computer this early. He said that they get e-mails with the information and he did not get the e-mail ths morning. Is that new? I thought that they saw the discount when they plugged it into the computer.
