Thanks...I was not able to get the AAA rate for my hotel and room type. But after I got off the phone with Disney I decided to check AAA myself to see what is available for my dates and there is TONS!!! I guess if worse comes to worse I will book our room through AAA and take a moderate over AKL standard. I was really hoping for a deluxe though at a decent rate. Lets all hope for tomorrow.

anyone have an idea of how fast the ap rooms will sell out? we have 3 nights at CR MK view and 6 nights BC standard june 8-17. if i call the same day the codes are out do you think i will get the rate? just wondering your experience with how quickly they sell out. tia

Can someone help me out regarding the AAA reservation web site. We are a family of 2 adults 4 kids. We usually get 2 rooms at ASM resorts. When I was just on the AAA web site they don't give me the option of 2 rooms. Do you think that is so AAA members won't reserve rooms for others they may be traveling with. I noticed they allow me to type a "traveling" person. I assume that is to try to keep families that are traveling together somewhat near each other in the hotels. ( we will be traveling with another family also.). So does anyone know how to book 2 rooms at the ASM via AAA website? We just joined AAA today. We do already have room only at ASMo, but they said no AAA discount available. Then I noticed the other dissers post saying the website was allowing some that CR was saying wasn't available.
ahh, that was a long story. So, anyone?

Eeyorelover22: I agree! My disney compulsion is really in hype drive these last few weeks. But of course while I am in disney in August I will be worrying about AP rates for my October trip. I have already been given the "no way is that lap top going with us" So I will have to sneak off and call from there?

Note to self: never plan 2 big trips this close togther again. I just came up on the 180 day window for October while waiting for these ap rates. I am going nuts over here. But it will be worth it come Aug & Oct. = WDW!
We haven't had 2 trips in a year for the last year, so we are excited.

Deesknee: Sorry, I would try booking 1 at a time? or you might have to call? that would be my guess. Good Luck

Up tonight trying to figure out how to cut budget if AP doesn't come out. For AAA members i have a question. If I call either CRO or AAA without, joining yet, will they tell me if there is any discount that can be applied to my exsisting reservation at Poly if I had AAA and then let me join and receive discount or do I have to join first. I wouldn't mind joing AAA first if it was still early but this late in the game and I have already bought AP don't won't to fork over any extra money right now.

I think someone said you could with no AAA number. There were none for my room type at AKL for June or for our December reservation though.

We have never gone more than once in a year. This will be our last summer for a long time as the kids are entering high school and with driver's ed and sports going on, I know it's not going to happen. This is our last year to go at Christmas too due to sports practices...over any break for that matter due to sports and I won't pull the kids out of school and I'm a teacher and only get 2 days off anyway so couldn't go anyway. It will be a long time before we get back to the World. I figure 5 years and then I'll have kids in college (that's the plan anyway) so I don't think that's going to work.

After this wait, I still have to wait for cheap airlines for December. Airtran and Allegiant haven't released December and the other airfares are up to $400 each. That's a bummer. We won't go at those prices!!

They will tell you the rate, but it just depends on which CM assists you. Out of 5 different reservations I made at different times over the past 3 weeks, I only had one CM not ask me for my AAA number. Then when I called back to change something on that res, the CM said oh I see we don't have your AAA number, let me add that here.

So, I've had to provide it but don't know about anyone else.
You could always say something like you haven't received your new card in the mail yet so don't know your number yet, which isn't a lie!
And maybe they would say something like just bring it when you check in, or call us back when you get it, ya never know.
