June/July/August 2006 Code watch

oooh ooooh!!! Me too! Unable to Process your request at this time!!
who knew I would be so excited to not be able to get in!
Here's hoping!

I got the same message on the AP site :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: Unable to process your request at this time! :thumbsup2

Maybe today is finally the day. Actually, didn't someone figure April 20 because of the 45 day cancel policy? Maybe it is tomorrow even though I am really hoping for today. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Good morning -

I come in and visit everyday, usually from the office, so I don't get to post. I finally gave up waiting and paid the final $500 on our package. It's getting close to that 45 day mark!!! :woohoo: I'll still be here checking everyday though!

i called today and applied the AAA discount to our WL stay too, just incase the AP disct doesn't come through.
I asked the CM if she was getting tired of AP holders calling and asking about any upcoming discount and she said no not at all! She said they have been swamped taking calls for the free dining package and that's what is preoccupying them lately.
She said the same thing, call back and check and they'll adjust my Res.
I'm glad I got the AAA disct, that's some extra mad money!!! :Pinkbounc

For the AAA discount, I was under the impression that you had to book through them. If I have an existing reservation (already paid for now) with Disney, can I still add the AAA discount? I just received a solicitation from them last week for my husband and myself to join for $50.

Any help would be appreciated!! "See" you all in the morning!!

Thanks everyone for the update. I checked here as soon as I got on line today to see if the discounts were out.I called yesterday and booked 5 nights at the Poly for the end of June. Wow, I have never paid rack rate before, I am hoping the AP rates come out soon. The CM I talked to yesterday said within the next week. I would love to be able to apply the AP discount to my reservation. :)

You can book the AAA discount directly through Disney CRO. We did that last year. You should be able to add the discount to your room reservation. I'm not sure if they only offer a limited # of rooms at the AAA discount (like they do with the code rates), but I doubt they do. We booked with the AAA discount last year, then switched to an AP code after they were released with no problem. They just say to show your card at checkin like any other hotel.

You can call Disney and see if you can add the AAA discount to your existing ressie. If there is availability then there is no problem. I booked for my October trip last week. I remembered yesterday that I forgot to ask for the AAA rate. I called back and they applied it to my Poly reservation. They don't even ask for the AAA number anymore but you do need it at check in for sure.

I tried getting the AAA discount thru CRO for our trip at the end of July for 10 nights at the YC, nothing was available...but I went to the AAA website and was able to see that there was a discounted room available. I called CRO back and told them that I could see the disount on the AAA site and that I would rather book thru CRO....still no availability. So, I went to the AAA website and booked online. No package, just room only. So there maybe limited rooms at CRO with the AAA discount.

AAA is also a Travel Agency. Disney releases some rooms to various agencies (AAA, Expedia etc) to sell and deal with. Those rooms and rates aren't available to the CRO CM.

Actually, tomorrow, April 21st is 45 days from June 4th - just to answer your question.

I also called this AM & spoke with Caldwell ..... He said "you know you don't have to call every day. If we don't hear from you until Friday or Monday, it will be okay." HAHAHA .... maybe :confused3 ...... Does that mean I should call back Friday???

DH & I take turns on who's nervous about the rates. Today's his turn ... For now, I'm cool with it. Tomorrow may be a different story though! :teeth:

I totally agree! I swear you people are like family to us now! I find myself quoting y'all saying thinks like "mky said ..." or "tess says ..." "who called this AM?" :rotfl:

Man! I was really hoping for today! Thanks to everyone who checked.

By the way, has anyone had any experience with using an AP rate for a home away from home (DVC) resort? We are DVC members and we booked part of our stay using our points and part using cash booked through CRO with a AAA rate. The CM said AP discounts do apply to DVC, but she couldn't say for how much. I wonder if it is the same as a deluxe? That sure would be nice! Anyone know?

I talked to a CM yesterday who told me the DVC ap rates were the same as the deluxes. Really the only good deal would be on a studio with an ap.

Would these just be AP codes coming out shortly or general public?

Thanks! going July 8th - 15 and need all the savings I can get!

Actually they would apply any time AP rates apply.

I hope the rates come too. But these CMs that are telling you, soon, truly do not know. Even management does not know if and when rates are released. CRO does not make this decision, and they know about it when it downloads into their computers.

So any CM that is saying, soon is just trying to get you off the phone so they can book a room.

Maybe soon, but I don't think so.

Well i aint gonna wait no more!.

I just ordered 3 nights/4days at Sequoia Lodge (Montana Lake View), Disneyland Paris.
14th - 17th July 2006.

I guess ill have to cope with this hotel :wizard: :smokin:

Last July an AKL Savannah Concierge Room on a weekend w/AP Discount: $219

Call DVC & ask them to figure out prices for you. We often pay cash for some nights using DVC or AP discount. This year a DVC Studio at VWL in June is costing us around $220 for a Friday night stay.

Good luck!

DVC = I did get an AP rate for the BWV 1 bedroom, the year it opened. Paid a whooping $220.00 / nite Now that was a good deal. :thumbsup2 I suppose they are offered if they are wide open with room? :confused3 Probably would be one of the lesser favorite dvc's or in an off time, or on the weekend cause lots of dvc's don't stay there on points over the weekend.
Last year I was offered an ap rate at OKW for a studio, but I wasn't interest. Can't remember the price.

Maybe it will be TOMMORROW? I am off and it would make my life so much easier. Everyone hang in there. Mky :smickey:
