Just got off the phone with Disney. The rates are not out yet. I aske if she knew when, she said you could try back in another week or so!!! :cool1:

Your Welcome Sorry I didn't have better news!!! Yes I do...5 boys 1 girl(but she's like 5 more boys). The Annual Pass....is it worth it to buy 1 and get the discounts for the hotels? How does it work? :confused3

Wish I had more kids:) .

AP currently is giving following discounts (if the rooms are available when they release the specials): Value $25, Moderate $40 & Deluxe $100.

Although they're out there, I've been unable to get AAA rates for June & am booked our last night @ rack. 1st time ever, it's killing me LOL. Hope they release them soon.

I've even booked our 1st night off-site @ half the rate of AAA Value rate.

As for an AP, I might get flamed on this one but, you could always try waiting to see if the AP rates appeal to you...then, order a voucher & activate @ gate before you check in.

You really only need 1 adult AP to book the resort rate...good luck.

Okay...the frustration is starting to set in. :hourglass It seems like every time I start getting really frustrated a code comes out. I hope my gut is right because I don't know how much more of this I can take. :badpc:

Hoping for a code to come out for April 1. I figure, the last promotion is valid until March 31 so April 1 is a good starting point for a new AP rate. pixiedust:

Ohhhh.....I feel your frustration too. What makes it even worse is....I'm going with my in-laws so I've booked a room for them also at the full rack rate and they don't get "the whole waiting for a AP code" to come out thing, so they are driving me crazy. I keep telling them "just a little longer," and the whole time I'm thinking, what if they never come out? What then? :confused3

I know exactly how you feel. I have also booked for my parents and my sister and her boyfriend. We are using all 3 of those AP rooms! Same deal, they keep asking and I keep telling them hopefully soon. Then there is my husband telling people that we got AKL for $109 per night. I keep telling him that is the LOWEST AP rate I have seen and WE DO NOT have it. Doesn't seem to get it though.

This is helpful to me as I am doing a comparison between the AAA discounts and the AP discounts, too. I am getting quotes from AAA now but I am unfamiliar with the AP and it's advantages. Living in Montana, we are pretty far away from both Disney parks and an AP has never had an appeal. This year, tho', I will be there in June and possibly a couple of days in October while the guys are at USO.

allears & mousesavers have a page devoted to the AP percs (room, dining, shopping discounts, etc.) think there's a cost comparison as to when the AP begins to pay for itself vs MYW tix. We're squeezing 3 trips out of the ones we bought last December. Do hope we'll get a room discount too for the few days we need to book. I gave up waiting for our 1st night in June & booked off site using the entertainment rate; figure the $50 we'll save vs the AS rate will pay for dinner. Still hope we don't have to pay rack rate for our 1 night splurge @ the Contemporary!

My local AAA agent is pitifully inadequate. I avoid asking her anything & use their website for planning purposes; then tell her what I need. June's right around the corner:sunny: .

. I have a future sister-in-law that says she can get great rates that she has her travel license but she also says she can do all things if you know anyone like that. I have been steadly inquiring about it but so far she has failed to actually give any info. She does not work AT a travel agency so she may have done something online or I dont know, Anyone know how a travel agent is licensed etc..?

As I understand it getting Disney TA rates is not as easy as saying "I am a TA", you need to DRIVE some business to them so if your future SIL isn't booking a lot of Disney then she isn't getting a great rate (plus the TA has to be there with her ID at check in)

Me too! We are staying in a 2BR this summer, as opposed to the 1BR we normally stay in~so we don't have the points! Today was the first time I called CSR in YEARS, and guess what? I have NOT missed it!!!!!!!!

Hi

First trip to Disney. Not going until September, but since I have 4 kids we have to book two rooms, so I was wondering if I should wait until these codes are posted to book my rooms to get a better deal or would I risk not getting connecting rooms at ASMo by waiting? Help

What do the ap vouchers look like? Are they paper or plastic....do they have a number on them that you give the cm when you book your room? Also can you purchase them at Disney Stores.....I think I read that you could, but now I can't find it. TIA

My AP voucher arrived in the mail from being ordered online. It was a bright flourescent yellow and did contain #'s on the reverse. We exchanged it at DD for a little paper AP ticket. :bounce:    :bounce:
