Except DVC they are value in late August... :thumbsup2

Sorry...I wasn't thinking about DVC because I did not think they offered AP discounts. I would love it if they did though.

Some of us use an AP discount over the weekend before we check in to our DVC resort. Otherwise you are correct an AP does not discount our DVC room but certainly provides other perks! :cheer2:

I don't understand why they are not nice when we call. I'm sure a lot of people call, but my students ask a lot of questions on polynomials and I don't get nasty with them!!

Spoke to a supervisor today when I needed to book a 2nd room res. for June (family members on the fence, wanted to grab a room until they make their mind up).

When I explained to res. what I needed to do, he indicated that he had no idea how to book the room & transferred me.

After booking said room, I inquired as to AP rates for end of June....I got the deep sigh, and was told that:

"...AP rooms, are an "if" - not "when"??? Further stated that they are capacity controlled & aren't a given if the resorts are selling well...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat.

When I pressed him for when they "might" release for June, he replied that 4 months out would be a good guess-timate. Unfortunately, my calender sez my vac. is 96 days away LOL.

I'm sure "us Juners" are driving them mad at this point since we all expected the dates to go through 7/4 ;)

Sending some extra PD out for some AP rates that include the last part of August. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I just got off the phone with a very nice girl named Marti  .Booked our July vacation 7 days 6 nights at WL with 6 day park hopper with water parks fun and more option (Fl Residents). :woohoo: Grand-Slam total 2267.00  Now the Fl Residents code is not out yet...BUT....She said ( and yes I know about taking what cast members say with a grain of salt ) that Fl Residents code for June 4 thru August 4 are "SUPPOSED" to be out on April 17th.I know that doesnt help you AP'ers out there, but the Fl Residents that have been chompin at the bit....there is light at the end of the tunnel.
And the best thing is when the code does come out I can call and have my rate changed :woohoo:  :yay::dancer:

This may have been asked already.... but I don't remember.... :confused3
Do you need the AP or Voucher already in hand when making the reservation?

I am only thinking of getting the AP if I have the option of a discount.
So I am hoping to make the reservation, then purchase the AP.
Thanks,

Ap rates usually come out about the same time though.
That's a longgggg wait!! :hourglass

What about a general public code? Do you think one will come out? I do not have an AP or AAA, so will there be anything for us other poor souls :goodvibes ? I hope so as we have 3 rooms booked for June 8-16 at POP. We can't wait :cool1: . But would like to have a small break if possible.

No, you can make the reservation without an AP or AP voucher, you just need to have your AP available to present at the time of check in to receive the AP discounted rate.

No ap rates :( - - talked to Tondra not personable. . .BTW, it's my husband doing the calling. He's actually quite a "people person" and very personable himself--he's usually quite good with the res agents, but he's not had much luck lately. :confused3
