We've done two post 4ths. I don't recall our arrival date in 96 BUT in 2003 we arrived on July 6. It happened to be a Sunday. I guess tons of people had just left. Epcot that night was half empty. Lots of spots were there at the best spots to see the show at show time!!

We stayed until the 15th I think.

The most crowded I've seen ever were a Sat in May at MK and the Prez week in Feb 04. I remember standing near the merry-go-round in MK and wanting to go towards It's-A-Small-World and you could not move!

The heat is worse than the crowds. You have to plan for that and we're just from Atlanta so we're sort-of use to it.

Me too, but last years AP rate was about $10 less for concierge so I'm not expecting to much for my vaca. On the other hand any savings is a good savings.

That's the way I look at it $10 discount x 5 days would pay for our lunch. Every little bit helps.

Just got a mail code today.....was so excited that I almost began to plan a spur-of-the-moment, unplanned trip in late May (the code was for end of April- June 3). When I called, though, this code only reduced CBR down to $139/night. Not much of a code, huh?

French Quarter is more compact with a fun slide and beinets. Port Orleans Riverside is more of a bayou feel with room for five on a trundle bed in some of the rooms. It is a little more spread out. A lot of people really like FQ because of its size.

Well, I'm waiting for a general public code for 6/9-6/18 at Pop Century.(room only)
I was going to use the AAA discount but, geez, the membership will cost $59. Didn't know it had gone up to that! The last time I belonged was 2 years ago.
I booked at the rack rate tonight, just to get a confirmation.
I am soo hoping for a discount code to come out!!!

YES! My ressie is for June 9-18 at the AKL! No AP rates might mean I'll have to change to a mod!

I'm reaaaaaaaaaaaly nervous.

Got conf letter re res. @ Cont. on 6/24 "wing" room (AAA rate). When I called Sun. to see if AP rates were out, the res. told me we had 1 King bed as opposed to 2 doubles!!!

Must be a convention, only a few wing rooms (& hospitality suite avail - LOL)

Had to cancel & rebook a "garden view", had to pay Rack Rate

I do so hope they come out soon.

Fritz says no word on when they will be released beyond 6/3/06. In response to another post--no I'm not getting nervous. Frankly, I don't think we'll see anything until April. . .hope it's sooner. . .but, really I'm betting that Disney is trying to get back on a 60 day in advance track. . .time will tell.

Just by way of information, I checked an AP rate for check-in on 6/1-10/06 and had no problems getting a rate for that week. This is actually one week before our now planned trip.

Anyway, just be patient and we all need to keep checking--you just never know when the APs will be released. . .

When I booked mine for June 22- 28 at POR I got an AAA rate and the cm said it had a better chance to have an AP since it had an AAA. The other mods I tried didn't have any AAA available. Fingers crossed, pixiedust ready!!

Nothing yet this a.m.--this was the release date last year for late April, May, and June (through 7/3/05). Guess we'll just have to keep pestering. . .
