If enough of us have the same dates maybe we should look into a group rate. It would not be the same as the AP discount but it would not be bad...just a thought!

Today was gonna be the day if no codes were released, I was gonna switch from Port Orleans to All Stars, but the only All Star Resort available is Sports, and we wanted Movies.

Pop is open, but it's not exactly my favorite resort. Gonna talk with the wife and make a decision. If we wait any longer, we won't be left with ANY choice to switch to.

My heart was pounding when I called and got the message that there was heavier traffic than usual and there would be a wait time, then I got on just fine and NO AP RATES!!!!Ugh!

Here is sending all of you pixie dust that AP rates do come out for the summer. We also were waiting on AP rates, but changed our mind as we weren't interested in paying $129.00 CDN (that is with exchange rate, although very low at the moment) for a Value resort for a few days while at Sea World before check in for Saratoga. Cancelled our ressie right away as soon as we made that decision to free up rooms for all of you folks, and switched to a Hilton resort for a few dollars more.

I felt that way a few days ago when I changed my dates so I could take advantage of the discounts offered before June 3rd. Thought the other codes would be released the very next day, but they weren't. They certainly are making us wait a long time this year.

I can't believe the codes have not come out yet!

I called to make a ressie for POFQ last night, and they gave me a rack rate as the only rate available at 155.00 per night. I said the the CM that I was so sorry, but I got a rate at the Swan for the same price, and I just cannot justify staying at a moderate at that rate - ever!


I just hope Disney will fill all of those rooms they need to fill at rack rates

the codes will be released May 3rd. The last 2 years the codes have been released the 1st Wednesday in May.

Am I confident that they will be released...?....YES

My only concern now is that they will skip my dates of June 14 - 25. I have a bad feeling June is getting passed over.

Hang in there all....and here is hoping everyone gets what they need.

I can't remember at all.

We leave June 17th and it's not looking good, is it?!?!?!?!

The resorts are booking folks. I'm having a hard time finding what I want for my dates in June. It was a last minute decision, but I thought I'd find something. It makes me wonder if they are going to release rates at all. I was talking to a CM @ CRO last night and she told me the pickings were slim. I'm really beginning to wonder if they are going release rates since they have people paying rack rate. I really hope so.

KingGoofy - Do you connections with Disney? I thought they kept a lid on that kind of information and just leave CMs guessing when AP rates might be released.

I am really hoping that tomorrows the day. I'm starting to think if AP rates for July don't come out in the next two weeks I'm going to have to make a decision of whether to pay rack rate for the Poly (no AAA rates left for gv room) or downgrade to CR wing room or POR.

Has there ever been a time in the last 3 years that Disney has left OUT a month from AP rates? Just curious? I know over major holidays, but just in general? NEVERMIND...I just looked at Mousesavers and since 2004 they have not skipped any month.

I HAD TO CHANGE SOME OF OUR DATES AROUND DUE TO DD SOFTBALL.
GAVE UP ASMO 8-14 WAS DUE TO MOVE INTO POR 14-21 .
GAVE UP POR FOR 2 RM AT VALUE, BUT THEY COULD ONLY GET US IN THE ASMUSIC AT THE AAA RATE. WAS HOPING TO GET MOVIES FOR DS.
AT LEAST WE GOT A ROOM AND AT AAA RATE.WE COULD SQUEEZE INTO ONE ROOM AND BE CROWED, BUT SINCE I AM NOT GOING AS LONG NOW I WANT TO BE COMFY.

I just checked my dates again June 30 -July 8. Every deluxe and moderate resort was available. For the first time in a long time, they even had WL Standard View available. POFQ (my most likely backup) still had both waterview and standard rooms available. They don't looked booked up to me.

To add some hope to all....I was looking back to see if historically Disney ever offered AP Rates about a month in advance or less ( I know normally they offered them a few months in advance, but heres one example from Mousesavers of one month in advance:

Annual Passholder room-only rates:

Became Available 3/9/05
Check in dates 4/17/05-7/4/05

So that was about one month in advance, so theres hope for us.
