June/July/August 2006 Code watch

We already have airfare and DS will be in football in August so we're going when we're going.

They offered AP rates last year during the free dining promo too.

I called today and the CM didn't seem to think that they weren't coming out just that I had a long wait still. 3-4 week in April.

I'm just trying to remember back to the days when I didn't know about codes and paid rack rate and went to Disney as happy as a lark [/QUOT

I don`t feel that they`ll skip over June and July, so I`m just going to try and hang in there , hoping to add a couple of days at the yacht club before our DVC stay. OH, "pleeze"... don`t forget us !!!

I think there will still be AP codes for summer, but I definitely don't think there will be any general public codes. The free dining is it for them.

I would think if there was going to be a summer code for even Disney Visa members, it would have been released before a fall deal as well. Who knows with Disney though!!

I remember those days. Boy, I hate to think how much money I spent that I didn't need to. Just glad I found the DIS when I did!!! We'll keep our fingers crossed for AP rates for June, July and August!!!

Patience is a virtue but, I'm not feeling it today.

Don't think I ever paid rack before - anywhere (disturbs me to pay full price for anything travel related - IMO throwing money away).

Probably why I'm so annoyed to be paying rack rate for days in late June.

I hope that this doesn't mean there won't be any room/package discounts for this summer since they've already released the September Dine Free promotion.

I agree and nothing today when I called.
I called to price a package for a friend anyway so asked
I have the friend almost talked into the free dining and then with the cheap Air Tran flights...he's almost packed!

At this point I'd be thrilled to get AAA rates. Maybe some will open up from people "jumping ship" for free dining later in year.

Just talked with a very nice cm. She said a lot of ressies are being changed today, and that there would be Ap rates for June /July. She suggested maybe this weekend or Monday, even though she hasnt really heard or she would tell me. I just hope they dont skip dates. I go June 5-12. Im worried too many people already booked checking in on the 3rd, and running 7-10 day vacations. Unfortunately, I am not flexable d/t husbands job, and kids getting out of school.So I will just keep on waiting.(along with everyone else)

I figured that would happen due to the free dining being offered for August and September. I know several people who changed their trip plans! Still waiting for that June code since our trip is a definite go for then!!!

I finally did the search thru the April/May watch & saw that their dates opened up initially about 2 months out on Wednesday, 2/22. I believe that they did skip discounts the week after Easter (natch).

Anyone know if there's a pattern (as in Wednesday mornings?). Yep, I am scrapping the bottom of the barrel here.

Value season starts only for the Delux resorts, not the moderates and value resorts (their value season begins on 8/27)
