June comes before August & the APs will still be valid! I think we're done here!

We do. Which we will use for all of our TS. But we don't have ANY days with more than one ADR, and there are a couple of days where I didn't book any TS meals. So I was looking at the Dining Plan for just CS. And it STILL won't save us ANY money! :rotfl2:

Welcome, Bernadette! Brains are overrated. We have done this enough times that we shouldn't need to think about it. Not sure why we continue to over-analyze each and every detail. :rolleyes1

Tweaking already.

I took another look at our itinerary yesterday. Realized I had Blizzard Beach on an AM EMH. I hate water. Water at 8 AM is unthinkable. SO I flipped our BB day with our Universal day.

Rescheduled a Boma breakfast and a Jiko dinner. I may cancel the Jiko entirely. We'll see how it goes. We have only been to Jiko once before and we were not impressed. I keep thinking we'll give it another try.

I pulled our December receipts and we really do only spend about $70 day on CS meals and snacks. The plan would cost $90. I really MUST stop thinking about the stupid Dining Plans! :headache:

If I never had a brain I'm sure I would quite happy but I am really missing the brain I once had!;) I have even less brain function today as I decided to try Mucinex to break up this cold after tons of folks recommended it. YIKES...it does seem to be breaking things up but I couldn't sleep at all last night. Decided I best stay home from work to try to kick this thing. I've been to work 7 days this month. And I'm going away in another 3 weeks.:scared1: If I ever start talking about another December trip will you just shoot me and save me all the misery? I atcually had a nice trip but not worth all of this stress.

I can't decide if I should analyze the details of my May trip or not. I still have it booked at DxDDP. I figure it is the last chance to really try it before Joe turns 10. He's the only one that it will be remotely worth it for. I do however need to make some more ADR's if I'm going to stick with it. I have my birthday breakfast & dinner booked, Jiko for the Saturday night with Terry & Halley, breakfast on Mother's Day, and Brown Derby Fantasmic Package. That is 8 of 21 meal credits.

Um, Bernadette? You are stressing me out. You are WELL BEYOND the 180 day ADR mark! BOOK SOME MEALS!!!

I am with you on not traveling in December ever again. I mean, seriously. I am NOT NOT NOT going to travel in December anymore. Ever. It was not worth it from multiple standpoints. Time, money, stress...

I need to make a new copy of my itinerary and see what else needs to be done. It is all scribbled and sloppy at the moment. If I cancel that Jiko dinner I might add something else. Maybe Cali Grill, although the 2 times we have been there so far were nothing to rave about.

OK....I just made enough to use all but 2 points (per person...). So now I have Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, Cape May & Tusker House for breakfasts; Coral Reef, & Italy for lunch; and Yak & Yeti, California Grill, Artist Point, Jiko, Brown Derby, Flying Fish, and Narcoosees for dinners.

I was going to book a lunch at Wave for our arrival but our flight lands at 12:2o and I made a 6pm for Yak & Yeti so I didn't really think I had enough time to do a lunch and still be hungry for dinner. I didn't want to do Yak & Yeti any later because we want to be able to ride EE in the dark and the park closes at 8pm.

Then I thought about booking CRT for breakfast on our last day and I could get it but I didn't want to do a credit card guarantee for our last day. Maybe I should see if I could do CRT on Saturday when I've booked Chef Mickey's and do Chef Mickey's on our last morning???? Don't think Joe wants to see the princesses but he would think the place was pretty cool. Maybe I should change Saturday's Chef Mickey's to O Hana and do Chef Mickey's on our check out day.

I'm sure we'll figure something out!!! Maybe we'll use some points to share an adult CS lunch on days we have an early breakfast and signature dinner.....

At least the ones I did make should calm you down a bit. I actually feel better having them booked!

So I just changed Chef Mickey's to check out day and added OHana for Saturday morning.

Now we just have 1 point extra each. I'm sure we'll want to eat lunch on one of those early breakfast days.

Then we'll have 28 snacks to use too....I guess we'll be bringing home lots of treats for the girls.

That's better! :thumbsup2

The cookies in the sweet shop in Frontierland are really, really good. I like the white chocolate raspberry, DS likes the peanut butter. Of course the BEST cookies are the white chocolate macadamia ones from AKL. I imagine those are all eligible for snack credit use. Just sayin'...:rolleyes1

Not sure if I will be able to find my glorious PACKAGED Nestle Toll House ice cream sandwiches in June. Sometimes the gift shop at AKL has them. They USED to sell them in the parks, but they don't anymore. And NOBODY can come up with an explanation for that. One CM gave me some song and dance about trans fat, but I looked and they have ZERO trans fat.

I was thinking about moving my Puck dinner to a lunch, but that won't work. We will be at a park that morning, and not go to DTD until later in the day.

DH is wearing me out with the Star Wars weekends thing. If we spend 4 entire days at MGM doing nothing but standing in line I will be irate. He is telling DS how lucky we are to be there for TWO weekends of Star Wars. Well, yes, we will be on property. That does NOT mean we are REQUIRED to spend those days waiting to get an autographed pic of some sound editor from the Clone Wars cartoon. Not all of the "talent" is from the movies. And not all of the movie talent is worth standing in line for. Obviously the technical folks are an integral part of the films, but I don't need to MEET them. We have never watched the cartoon, so I DEFINITELY don't need to meet the people from that. I guess if DH wants to meet them he can stand in the line by himself. :rotfl:

Elizabeth - do you guys ever split up and do your own thing at WDW? It has saved many a vacation for the 4 of us!

Once, I think. DH was throwing a tantrum so I told him to go back to the hotel. DS and I stayed at MK - it was great! Oh, then there was that time I got sick and stayed at the Poly while DH took DS to MK.

Ordinarily we don't have different agendas, so we stay together. It depends on the line-up for Star Wars Weekends. It may turn out that there is only one day that they REALLY want to go, and in that case, I will go with them. If it turns into a multi-day thing I will tell them to go without me. ;)

I imagine you are correct! ;)
I have intentionally left the Star Wars days loosely scheduled. We can look at the entertainment and decide if we want to go to Epcot or MGM those days. We either have no TS dinner planned, or we have something like Flying Fish that is accessible from either park.

I do owe DH a little reciprocal indulgence on Star Wars, because he will be accompanying me to Gay Day at the Magic Kingdom. I am THRILLED to be going for Gay Days. We have matching T-shirts to wear, lots of our local friends will be there, it will be a blast. And while DH will enjoy it, it really is more MY event. The same way I will enjoy Star Wars days, but they are more HIS event. DS will love all of it. :goodvibes

Since we aren't going to WDW for anybody's birthday this year I have decided to order a cake for DS. He doesn't like cake, but I do. I like it A LOT! Theoretically he will graduate from middle school the day before we leave. I think a congratulatory cake would be a lovely gesture, even though he doesn't like cake. :rolleyes1

Now to review my ADRs and decide what night a cake would fit in with our plans!

I think that is a very grand gesture on your part, Elizabeth! I am glad to hear you are willing to do that for him.

:rotfl2:

I think I will order a cake for the night we have dinner at Yachtsman. I should have been paying closer attention to the cake thread. We have only had cakes from Boardwalk Bakery before, so I am only familiar with ordering from them. OK, well, not really because I had concierge do it for me last year. But I do have the info written down from the year before that. I also have the cake info for the GF written down, but we aren't having dinner there until the very end of the trip.

Hmmm, maybe I will steal this idea as my DS will be graduating from middle school as well ;)

PS - is there anyway I can bookmark this thread to follow it?

I had to have some reason to order a cake. I love cake. ;)

You can subscribe to the thread. I will have to look to see how to do that. Ah, just click on "Thread Tools" at the top of the page and click to subscribe. :)

So I came here because I knew I could count on you to get my mind off of things, for that I thank you!

Now a few things : )

I love Airtran, don't be frightened. The only downside I have ever experienced with them is that they made my non-stop into a flight with 1 stop. Yes, sometimes they tweak their flight times (but I never noticed it).We always fly them. It is super easy from Pgh to MCO. I wish I had come here before to tell you little tricks I have learned but you can use them next time! They usually have a coupon on their website if you sign up and give them your email. I use different ones all the time and it knocks off about $25 a person (Not much, but something). I have also found that booking late Tuesday nights get me the best deals.:confused3

Now STAR WARS!!!!! I would love to go for that. I would happily volunteer to stand in line and wait! I admit I have a small Star Wars obsession.....kinda like my Disney one.:rolleyes1

Not only that but Gay Days too! :woohoo:

I will have to live vicariously through you for these 2 great events! Sometimes it really stinks to have such a seasonal job!:guilty:

I am so very sad about your sweet doggie.

I am not worried about Airtran EXCEPT for the flight coming home. Like I said, it appears to be a flight they don't start running until the second week of June. There is a HUGE, and I mean H U G E gap between that nonstop flight and the next flight to DFW. The nonstop leaves at 8 AM, the next one doesn't leave until like 11 AM BUT it doesn't get to DFW until like 5 PM! :scared1: I PROMISED DH we would get home in time for him to go to bed. He goes to bed about 7:30 PM. I may suggest to him that he try to arrange to have Sunday off, just in case something goes wrong. I do get coupons from them periodically, but so far they are not valid for our travel dates. Which is good, because we are already booked! Getting a coupon NOW would make me mad! :rotfl2:

DH and DS love Star Wars, so they are really excited. I hope there are some cool celebs on the schedule. :thumbsup2 I am not sure how tolerant they will be of the lines, though. i wanted to see Captain Sig at Epcot last summer, but the queue was INSANE! We skipped it.

SO excited about Gay Days! I wish you were able to join us! It will be great to see everyone (the locals, and the other friends who are planning to attend). Well, hopefully our trips will overlap some other time. :)
