I'm leaving June 7th for Disney, I'm just trying to get an idea of what kind of crowd levels and weather I can expect. I know Florida school I think are out in June but in New Jersey Schools don't get out till mid - late June. My parents just went in March during a spring break and they said the crowd level was awful. I'm expecting it to be atleast better than Spring Break - Level crowds, anything less than that I think I can handle.

:woohoo: We will be there June 7th thru 17th, we know it will be busy but plan on taking it easy and really just doing what we want when we want.
We also plan on Universal so we will be wiped-out by the time we are done!! We can't wait !

As it gets deeper into June the crowds get larger and larger. Our last trip stated in early June and went into the middle of the month. The majority of the trip was great. We got to all the parks early (EMH or regular) and had no waits at any park by arriving at park opening. We always took a break back to our resort when the big crowds started to arrive around 11am or so. Then in the evening we went to another park. We found that the evening EMH was so crowded it was a waste and gave up that idea. Mornings EMH were great!

By the last couple of days of our stay the crowds were much larger. At that point even park hopping didn't help as all the parks were really jammed.

You can expect very hot and humid weather with afternoon thunderstorms just about every afternoon. The normally break up by sunset. Pace yourself with the heat and drink plenty of water. You can have a great time even with the crowds if you plan on getting to all the parks at opening.

We will be there on the 7th too!:cool1: I feel the crowds will be little more higher then the last a couple of years. Only because of the package deals. But I don't feel it will be high like spring break....Like you said some schools are still in...We can only wait and experience it ourselves.:lmao:

We are there June 9th -16th. We went 2 years ago June 5- 12th and really didn't think the crowds were bad AT ALL!! We are "rope drop" people and fastpass utilizers, so it wasn't bad for us. The only time we really noticed the crowd was at AK. I think that is just the way it is at that park...smaller walkways and hotter than heck!

I can't wait!!

there is a link in my sig for the history of weather in central florida. as for crowds, http://www.touringplans.com has a calendar that predicts wait time for major attractions at mid day. Wait times have a high correlation to crowds.

we were there last year June 7-14 and I thought the crowds were only slightly smaller than the spring break crowds we've experienced in March. I would go expecting it to be hot, humid and crowded!

We were there 6/8-6/16 2007! We had a wonderful time. No issues with crowds or heat. Don't push yourself, drink lots of water and being easy going! You are at WDW:banana: We will be returning 6/5-6/13:yay: Oh the June nights are great at the parks:cloud9:

We'll be there the 5th - 19th and have gone several times in June. With 7 day passes, we plan on "Doing Disney" the first week and the other parks outside Disney the second week.

Disney will be crowded but manageable, if you get here before opening and do the important rides right away. After that, we wander, see shows, watch parades and use those fast passes we collected earlier ;)

It's usually hot, in the 90's by the afternoon. It frequently storms for a while in the late afternoon, so I make sure we don't forget those rain ponchos and water bottles!

I would keep an eye out for updates on park hours in the last couple of weeks before you leave. Disney has extended the park hours and added some Fantasmic showings to the first three weeks of May and I'm hoping the trend continues.:rolleyes1

Hi. Im from Brick New Jersey. Last year from June 5th - 10th was a great time to go!!! I am mean schools in Jersey get out around the 19th of June. So no parent is going to take their children out of school one week for vacation when summer is only a week away, right??? :) So, its a wonderful time to go!

We're checking in to BC 6/7-14 b/c DD's school gets out on 6/5. Seems like all the flights from DFW to Orlando on Sat 6/6 are booked solid.......so expect crowds! Also, I posted a poll on "countdowns" and this same week in June had the highest response for those going in June, about 33%. I'm just going to follow the other DISers advice and get to the parks before rope drop, have a plan to do our impt rides early, FP, and then take a break in the afternoon, go back at nite for a short time. I know my kids will need their sleep in order to get up and out the door early am:banana:

Have a great trip everyone and we may see you while we're there :earsboy:

I agree! That is the first full week that most public schools in Texas will be out and, like us, many decide to go to WDW then. When we went 2 years ago, we met several other Texans...

Oh, I have to add this - when we went 2 years ago, it had been a time of drought. There had not been any rain since March. Well, the week we were there it DID rain. Being from Texas, I could actually feel happy for this because we often have times of drought.

But, we found that when it did build up a shower, it cleared the parks out. If you can get out of it for a bit and "last it out", the crowd diminishes greatly. These usually occured early-mid afternoon when many were headed back to their hotel for a rest and the rain just sped that process up a bit.

We're going June 14-21. I'm expecting big crowds since it's towards the end of the month. I've survived early August so hopefully I'll be ok! :)

Here's another Texas family that will be going at the same time! We're planning on Busch Gardens June 7-8, Disney World (CSR) June 9-16, Universal Studios June 17-20, and starting the trip home on June 21. Then vacation will be over and I'll finally be back to work so I can rest! We do a whilrlwind road trip like this every year.

Plan on weather and crowds. In 2007 we drove all the way up to Ohio to go to Cedar point and it was incredibly HOT there. Didn't faze us Texans, but we could see the locals wilting all around us.
