Hi. I just sent a request to joint your FB group This is our first Disney Cruise. It will be me (Kerri) as well as DH and Ds8 and DS6. DH and I cruised NCL over 10 years ago ad did not enjoy it, but we are giving cruising another try. We are booked in cabin 5052 but nervous about the location and unsure if we should book a higher deck. DH wants a verandah and i believe we have the larger verandah in this cabin. I have been reading threads to get acquainted with DCL. Weve been to DW a million times but know little about DCL, excursions, etc. I'm unsure if we will participate in the FE as I am a bit overwhelmed and unsure if delivering the gifts will be too time consuming to where it takes away the much needed relaxation time. We are used to non stop exhausting WDW vacas and we are looking for something more low key. Any tips for excursions etc will be greatly appreciated. dH is very nervous about spending so much on this so I want it to be great. We live is south fla so dolphin excursions and snorkeling don't really interest us. TIA for all of your tips btw we are traveling with my sister Ad her DH and their DS 4. Thanks!!!!

We are counting the days. Both excited and sad as this will be a celebration of sorts as our youngest is graduating HS and we will soon be Empty Nesters. This day came far to soon. No room info as its in a different location but we will have 2 rooms for DD22, DS18, DM & DD. No FB, SO Will be checking in HERE to stay up on the chatter. We will be spending the night before departure on Cocoa Beach. Can anyone offer advice on dependable taxi to the port on the morning we leave?

My son and my nephew will both be 18 when we sail. I am hoping that there are several more in the "Young Adult" group, 18-21 year olds. It is my son's first time without access to the teen club, however, he has hung out with the YA group with friends on previous cruises (he is 6'1, 230 lbs with a beard..people always think he is 21!). We will have to see or organize a "meet" for them at the beginning and maybe they can plan on hanging out or doing an activity once in a while.

Anyone else have kids in this age bracket?

18 to almost 21 can be a tricky age group on the cruise but meeting up with with everyone here could save them all some awkward and uncomfortable time right from the start of the cruise. We will be looking for you.

My family will be sailing with you on June 7 on the Fantasy. We sailed on the Dream last June. it was Just fantastic! It will be me (GM), GF, DS, DDIL, DGS 17 at sailing and DGD 14 at sailing. This will be my first time in Western Caribbean and Mexico! Any tips on shore activities?

Hello! We just switched our B2B on the Magic for this cruise. The kids school has limits on how many days they can miss. But wow this one is much more! This will be our fifth Disney cruise and I love everything about cruising with Disney. It will be me, DH, DD(7), and DS(5). We are not on Facebook so I hope y'all will post on here any meet ups. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

We just booked this on the Magic before we got off this past Friday.
We will be celebrating my middle son' 21st birthday and on the 12th my oldest grand-daughter turns 10!!! This will also be the first time all of us
go on the Fantasy!!!!

Welcome aboard! I am so glad there are more 18-21 year olds joining the group. My son and BFF's son will both be 18 on this cruise. I am hoping there will be a big enough group on board that they can do some things.

We are currently at 13 cabins for the FE, there is still room for two more cabins. I will close FE at 15 cabins so that way we do not get overwhelmed, because for those doing individual gifts for each person in each stateroom, there are quite a few state rooms with four or five people in them. We can go further with our gifts this way. I will post the final list once two more cabins sign up so we can all get started. It's gonna be fun!

Also, sometimes each sailing has multiple FE groups so if there are more people that book, a second group can always be started by someone

Ok Guys. Here is the FE list. I hope that I have everything correct. If anyone else would like to update me with any food allergies or character favorites, please feel free, and I will make a note on my master list. I will post another list as time passes if I've received any changes. As far as staterooms that are GTY, or not yet assigned, please let me know as soon as you have your assignment, which they will probably start assigning as soon as April, and I will update my list. You guys don't have to worry about printing lists and bringing it with you to port. I will print a copy for each stateroom and include a color deck plan map and hand them out on embarkation day. If I am notified of any port upgrades from anyone, I will make the necessary changes on the lists before I hand them out. All you guys have to worry about is updating me with any changes on your behalf, and the gifts, and just have fun! HERE WE GO!!!:

Helloooo fellow cruisers....soooo excited about this cruise...just joined the dis for a last min cruise next wk, but taking advantage & prepping for the June 7, 2014 cruise aboard the fantasy...so this will be cruise #2 for some in our party & #1 for the rest...very interested in the door decorating & fish extender...I read in the thread that the 1st FE group was closed, but would love to have another one going...can't wait!!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome...I'm shockingly, I know, not on Facebook, but thanks for the info...I'm sure another group will start too, we're still a ways away...my cursing party will consist of 5 cabins: my parents; myself with my husband & our 2 boys; my sis & her friend; my cuz with her husband & their 2 girls; & the grandmas of the girls...we might have 1 more cabin join us, another cuz with wife & son...we r sooooo excited...& we r frm Miami
