June 6 - 12th?

I am not sure where to put this, I am new to posting. We are going on June 6th and I have never been that close to summer. We usually travel off season in September , early Dec and February. How are the crowds? Is the heat unbearable? Should I pack bug spray?

Is there anything else I should know about June vs. off peak besides expect to wait?

I've only ever been in July & the heat is terrible. I will be there at this time as well! I think we're going the 8th-12th. I haven't booked a resort yet. I cant decide if we should stay on property or at Downtown Disney!

The crowds will be heavier, but heat wise I am sure you have had September days that will be like June, there may just be more of them.
